Weird off-road - the Moon-Eyed people, of the caves of the east coast, who, because sunlight would burn their skin, or eyes, could not come out the daytime, but lived and gardened at night. Two-feet tall by legend.

The Barred Owl cracks me up. I'm thinking about God imagining what instrument it might be in his bio-symphony, then writing the DNA blueprints for it's music in the mind, then the strings (vocal cord assembly) to enable it to play that specific tune, over and over, generation after generation indefinitely.
