We can give away Bibles and plant the seeds, but GOD, Christ Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, draws them in.

It’s not so much that the Bible is a fairy tale, but that some scriptures are in contradiction.

For example, Jesus taught God is all loving, merciful, and forgiving; yet that same God will somehow angers easily and in vengeance will smite or torture us in fire for eternity for disobeying and misbehaving.

Another example, it is written “Heaven” is a place of paradise and purity where God resides, yet somehow there were envious and greedy angels that started a war with God for power and control. And the result was a group of fallen angels whose leader is Satan here on Earth.

The Bible is said to be the Word of God, but parts of the content seem to be filtered through the human ego mind and describing more like what we have here with envy, greed, hierarchy, hunger for power, wars, judgement, vengeance, punishment, and torture.

It seems we have humanized God to behave badly just like us, and “Heaven” to be just as dysfunctional as here.

Careful of any teachings said to be the Word of God that put fear in us, belittle us, divide us, confuse us, or instill hierarchy or superiority in us. Those teachings have been infused with low consciousness human biases.

The Word of God will always be caring, understanding, compassionate, uniting, empowering, and uplifting to inspire and encourage us to seek the love of God for comfort and guidance while we undergo the extremely difficult task of learning to grow up spiritually to love and compassion in a young world that is evil dominant.

And what if God doesn’t judge to reward believers or punish nonbelievers?

The caring and compassionate God is pure love. God loves each of us equally and unconditionally, regardless if we are believers or not, sinners or not.

When we veered off the good path, God will always lovingly nurture and patiently guide us back onto the path to love and compassion. It is what a loving mother will do for her young children, why then would so many believe God will not do the same when God’s love is of a depth and immensity beyond what we think is possible.

Hard for many to believe, there are same number of angels surrounding both a kind person and an evil person. Maybe even more for the evil one who needs more help.

The further we move along the long spiritual path the more we will begin to see in the distance the same destination that is love and compassion. Blessed with free will we all will be at different points along the path moving at our own comfortable pace, or not moving at all, or even going backwards.

Good to keep in mind, those who are further ahead on the spiritual path will have deeper understanding and greater compassionate for the people behind them, for they too were once at that earlier point of less awareness and not knowing any better yet!

How many people understand the bible on the multiple levels it was written? It's like an onion, it has layers. What you understand one day, will be deepened the next.

This is why we see so much argument, dissension and division amongst believers, because they are all interpreting on different levels of understanding. One calls another foolish, the next calls another deceived... and on and on it goes.
