Might have to lance it. One of the worst pains was having my thumb swell up after hitting it numerous times on the same spot trying to hammer in nails. The pain went away after sticking a needle in it. A hematoma.

I had that too. The dried blood is stuck to the nail. You will have to wait until the nail has grown the distance from the current position of the spot and past the tip of the toe. Takes about half a year.

How to remove a toe? Submerge your foot in ice water for at least 30 minutes to make sure it's good and numb, tie a tourniquet around your ankle then use a hacksaw (make sure it's a new, sharp blade). Should take no more than 10 minutes. Elevate your foot and bandage the shit out of it.
