Probably better to bank as much $ as you can while you can because the economy is about to turn sour and the layoffs are coming. From '07-'09, many people lost everything and had to start over, don't put yourself in that situation, I've seen many seniors working minimum wage jobs to pay bills after they quit their jobs thinking SS would be enough.

50. I'm secure. No wife, no kids. I decided to bow out and watch the world burn. My company turned super woke and I got the message. They laterally told people that if you're LGBTQ+ you should tell your supervisor or the interviewer because that will benefit you.

Lately when I'm in the office I've noticed many women that come in at 9:30 and leave at 12:30 to 1:00. Sometimes they go to lunch in between. No I'm not kidding. I've worked roughly 55 hours a week for nearly 30 years.

We're now shutting down manufacturing routinely but no-one cares.

So, I decided it's time to John Galt this shit.

Those higher up on the ladder of management have no intent on protecting or guiding the company. Management's intent is to always just protect themselves as long as possible while pushing work load off of themselves down the ladder.

Collect your paycheck. Secure your knowledge. Prepare a dead man switch. Rob them blind. Have an exit plan. Fuck them.

After you get terminated without cause, collect your puny unemployment pennies and rest. Trigger the dead man switch. Bathe in pilfered office supplies. Offer trade secrets to competitors. Let management hire you back as a consultant making triple what they paid you before.

Also, do not give a rats ass and only do minimum amount of work. Make sure you get overtime for any time over 40. File a complaint with state labor board if you aren't being paid OT.
