Do you know only 12 countries on the planet recognize Taiwan as “ independent” from China? Retaliation and revenge come in many forms, and over long periods of time. The US continues to pull the tail of the Dragon. The US literally recognized Taiwan as an integral part of China. The only problem is that the US breaks a mountain of contracts for its own interests! The Americans will first take the entire IT industry back to the USA from the Taiwanese (already without question they condition TSMC to open factories in the USA even though they don't have the knowledge...) When they do that, a typical trade or war will follow if it's in their interest!
