On September 11, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa, Col. Charles A. Lindbergh gave the "America First" speech during the pre-war America First period. Charles Lindbergh Warns of US Entry Into World War II. The American public opinion for providing aid to Britain was slowly starting to change. Charles Lindbergh became the chief spokesman for a new Noninterventionist organization dedicated to keeping America out of the war, The "America First" Committee. Founded by a handful of students at the Yale Law School, [yes, Yale, but only a handful began the movement], it soon became the largest anti-war organization in the history of the United States.

This speech took place in [April 11,] 1939 on a radio show prior to the Des Moines speech.

Charles A. Lindbergh speaks, on Mutual Broadcasting System, against American involvement in Foreign Wars. He states that the Americans should not be asked to fight in foreign countries, but to focus on defense of the United States. Among other things, Lindbergh says: "The doctrine that we must enter the wars of Europe, in order to defend America, will be fatal to our Nation, if we follow it. When men are called upon to fight, and to die, for their country, there must not be even the remotest question of foreign influence." involved." He states that Americans have no confidence in decisions of their leaders. He talks about the high number of aircraft and war material manufactured to fight in European countries. And he likens the current spending for armaments to the National debt.

Does any of this sound the least bit familiar?
Didn't we a send tremendous amount of new [and expensive] combat equipment to fight a proxy war recently and continue to do so along with our own troops?
Didn't we leave behind billions of dollars of the same prior, making all the building up of our Military defenses from the previous administration in vain? (With mention of leaving our own civilians behind as well).
Isn't it so that propaganda, shaming and smear campaigns are used constantly? Nancy, herself, even told us just how smear is carried out and why.
