People are always screaming the Separation of Church & state. These celebrations have NO place in the schools.
Oh, give it a friggin' rest.
You guys know I'm the least "Christian" reverend here, so take this for what it's worth:
"Stop using little kids as political pawns."
Halloween is FUN for kids. Remember FUN? What the hell happened where all of a sudden everyone has to screech and bitch about things that don't MEAN anything, like whether or not we should BAN fucking HALLOWEEN, and everyone has to make sure that they're all SHRILL enough, to show how COMMITTED they are, and never mind the fact that the one thing they ARE doing is FUCKING UP A FUN TIME FOR KIDS, IN A WORLD THAT ISN'T GOING TO LET THEM HAVE MUCH FUN ANYWAY.
Fuck it. A plague on all of your houses, you sorry sonsabitches.

It was a chore to make sure my handicapped grandfather could get to the door to give out candy while my grandmother & I went out for 30 min or so. Xmas & Easter were never fun either when you have a bunch of relatives that get together & do nothing but fight the whole time.
