A better policy would be to ignore all relgious things altogether.
That would be the most fair way to go about it, no religous festivals or any adjustments to how the school is run to accomodate any religion, be it the lunch menu or the hours at school for example.
No action that intentionally favours any religion(s) should not be undertaken.
