As far as I can tell by the ‘law’, the big changes are:

cannot be considered independent contractor (IC) if
-employer sets working schedule
-employee cannot provide IC service to another company
-employee is only IC to one company


basically if your boss was avoiding W2 taxes by making you IC when it’s not really the work arrangement, they must move you over to wages or face penalty or govt lawsuit
