For the first time ever, the Australian National Rugby League (NRL) Premiership season will kick off on American Soil

The playing field is actually smaller than the standard length NRL field. The numbers painted on the grass represent yards not metres, so slightly smaller. There will be a lot of contact and big hits with less room to move but also the attacking players will be looking to take their chances with the shorter faster playing surface working to the advantage of many of the speedsters.

40 minutes each half. The game is mostly free flowing with occasional stoppages throughout the game due to on field occurrences. The video ref and video replays can also come in to play particularly when tries are scored. 13 players vs 13 players with 4 replacements each team on the bench. With like 10 interchanges allowed during an 80 minute game.
