Lances Cheese and Cracker Variety Pack Ratings

Day 1. Cracker and American Cheese.

This is a fairly bland snack. It is basically two saltine crackers (of decent quality), with a thin layer of a very bland cheese spread.

Most of the flavor comes from the salty cracker, and the aroma and taste burst of cheese that one would hope for is lacking.

I rate this a 4.5 on the 10 point cracker snack scale.

The peanut butter on cheese cracker is good and the cream cheese one on white cracker is good.
Really cheap snack worth its price.

Day 1. Cheese and Garlic.

Well my snack appetite drove me to a second pack on day 1. I guess the first choice was banal that I needed to jump back in and get some higher level vibes going on the cracker rating priority.

Well this snack choice looks almost identical to the Cracker and Cheese. You get the same basic saltine cracker and then the cheese spread is the same color.

but low and behold...we find a subtle after taste springs forward as we finish the cracker. Just a little added flair of garlic flavoring in the post cracker stage really uplifts this cracker choice.

5.5 for the Cheese and Garlic!

Food that doesn't require cooking or refrigeration is prepper food.
No water needed to rehydrate. No freeze drying. But really nice after a hurricane, flood or snow storm knocks out the power.

Thank you for making me laugh, and also giving me an education about Lance crackers. When are you gonna try the third variety?

Party people is back?

They're not the same as they used to be. For one they now sweeten the peanut butter and mix it wuth something where it used to be just pure peanut butter.

Thats what happens whenever weasel yankeed slither their way into a company or take it over. Everything they touch is negatively effected.

Recipe for most was changed 20 years ago, they all taste like shit now.

Day 1 Peanut Butter and Honey

Well I know I'm out of control. But curiosity drove me to open another little 8 pack of crackers, putting me at 24 cracker already on Day 1.

note: I noticed on the label, the name for these crackers is actually "Captain's Wafers" and the Lance terminology for this snack is a 'Sandwich Cracker'.

Well, first we have switched from cheese as the main course of this little sandwich, and over to Peanut Butter. We remain with that basic slightly undersized classic saltine. No clearly this is not pure Peanut Butter, just as the Cheese is not cheese...in both cases we are getting some type of spread. There is not mention of GMO and I see no indication or rNMA manipulation, so I guess we're safe.

Now Peanut Butter holds up a little better to the strong salt taste from the cracker, and again as the palette realizes it is not going to be overwhelmed with a powerful peanut Butter flavor and saltine is predominant, when gets struck with a slight sweetness from Honey. Just a enough to turn the peanut/cracker saltiness is a mellow pleasant taste on the tongue.

Well Done, Lance! This cracker scores a 6.

What an interesting life you must lead. Some folk climb the tallest mountains in the world and you choose to drool over cracker ratings. Quite the gulf.

Day 2. Cream Cheese & Chives

The classic saltine again. But this thin layer of cream cheese has much more weight than any of the other spreads. And Clearly this is not the cream cheese we all think of, but again some kind of manipulated spread. But it works well. It is a subtle but fine taste, and biting into the cracker, we can also see the brown layer of chive which also seems to have manipulated into a spread, and then laid down on the saltine in a super thin layer. But that wonderful chive flavor works in perfect balance with the cream cheese spread.

Surprisingly (to myself) I am enjoying this more than a peanut butter Capatin's wafer.

Cream Cheese & Chives rates a 7.5 on the cracker Scale!

This is a complex analysis of the relative merit of various Lance's Captain Wafers.

Seems unimportant until you are standing in the cracker Aisle trying to make sure you choose well. Then, just maybe, GLP will kick in and help you steer the Zeitgeist, so you wind up far upon that golden shore, where no turbulence of the churning sea can drag you down.

Told you,that cream cheese is the bomb.
As far as survival food.crackers cant take abuse.but the double packaging helps alot for mobility.
The keebler cheese cracker with peanut butter is my fallback position.

Its the bang for the buck motive really.

Giving me the munchies and i aint even high!

I had a friend once. He was an extremely handsome guy, had a college scholarship to play soccer. He was at Springbreak in Daytona Beach.

He was having a great run with the ladies, after 5 days, his friends were driving back to the Midwest and he looked at everyone and said, "I'm going to stay". He had 20 dollars.
