gooderboy User ID: 68901 United States 10/07/2008 08:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Course now too though, lol... to me, all them so called negativities and/or baddies and/or doomish like squawkings just sorta reminds me of a bunch of little kids squabbling over which grains of sand in a community playground sandbox belongs to them. But heck... I'm also from L.A., born and raised, and I grew up with being told, and just about every single day of my life too, that we were going to be taken out by the 'big one', and that it was coming 'soon'. And too... I was also told, and just about every day of my life (back then) as well... that we were also going to be taken out by them Soviet missiles to boot. Why, lol, they even had us cowering under our desks in school back then, and while all the while telling us that that would somehow protect us against a nuclear bomb blast. Now to me, and for real too... lol, the whole idea of that desk-bomb-drill crap was/is a lot scarier than any of them doomish like silly projections that folks may tend themselves for to do. |
