I try not to discuss it with him, but if he overhears my conversations with others (often my phone conversations), then he gets all huffy with the "I can't believe you loonies think that our government would start a war in order to secure oil".

A few weeks ago he went ballistic because he heard me talking about the evils of fluoride and water fluoridation.

When I suggested he watch this video, his response was "don't be an idiot, you can't trust anything you see on the internet."

He was organized and fanatical about managing money and the way the dishes were arranged in the dishwasher. Everything was fine while I was distracted by my work as a creative director in DC and could ignore him sufficiently. We never argued or had any disagreements until I got "spiritual" and we moved to Sedona. Then he tried to have me assassinated. Oh well, still a "nice" guy tho...

If being open to reading/viewing/listening to evidence and then coming to a conclusion based on that evidence means that I have a superiority complex, then I guess I do.

The only time he gets angry is when he's defending the status quo paradigm.

For example, I've never, in three years, seen him get as angry as when I suggested this morning that perhaps it's not crazy to consider that pharmaceutical companies are infecting people with the very diseases they offer medicines for.
