I think you don´t understand health care. In Europe, if you want to go to a private hospital, you could go. If you want to receive an imminent and the best treatment, if you want to go with your doctor(I do), change your face or put more boobs, you could go wherever you want. There are a lot of private hospitals, private doctors. But if you haven´t enough money and you´re really sick, the health care will always be here for you.

No, actually Obama is a distant cousin of Cheney's. All the presidents/vice presidents have been related in some distant way to each other.

Back to the OP, whilst I did look at Obama as a possible alternative because I was not thrilled with McCain being chosen. I took Obama at his word per his commercials and really got to know how each candidate stood on issues. I listened with an open mind to their campaign speeches, (I had lived in AZ for 12 years and knew McCain). I will grant that Obama gave great speeches. Then came the questions about Ayers, Rezko, Odinga, Khalidi, Mansour, Wright, etc. I watched to see how Obama would answer. He treated the questions with disdain, and stated in a belittling manner..."not one of my advisors, will not serve in my cabinet, this is not an issue, the issue is the economy".

Horns sounded and flags went up. Why doesn't he just answer the question? I started listening closer to his speeches, they were empty rhetoric. I checked his Illinois Senate record...saw his vote against castle domain, saw his vote on infant born alive, saw he ran unopposed by disqualifying his opposition. Mmmmm. I borrowed his book, Dreams of My Father to read. The pure pent up anger astounded me.

So, this whole BC thing, there are many different ways it can be spun and has been. Is it a decoy from something more nefarious? More than likely. Obama has been groomed from his early 20s by someone who has catapulted him to the national stage very quickly. Why? Who? What is the agenda behind these people?
