NOW it is.

If a tsunami hits with the power grid still up operating and connected to the national grid the death toll would be closer to 300 million in the states alone in the first year after because it would essentially shred the entire US Canadian and parts of the Mexican grid.

You'd be looking at 5 years to restore power to most of the US NOT HIT BY THE TSUNAMI

It's probably just all the "doom" I've been reading
on GLP...

...But I had a "lucid dream" (you know what THAT is, right?)
that I was woken from a sound sleep just in time to see
all the electricity (lights in other room, the digital clock,
the noises from the heater suddenly going of to TOTAL
SILENCE) and I started screaming for my spouse. And in the
dream...it was like I had been WARNED that this would
happen with the electric going off being the "sign" that
the tsunami had hit the East Coast.

It was almost like I had a tiny snippet of an alternate
"me" in a universe where that Presidential Emergency
Broadcast "test" (last August) which in THIS UNIVERSE
was postponed and a "nothing burger"...had been a REAL
TEST with the President (Trump) announcing the whole
La Palma scenario and that Americans needed to prepare and
brace ourselves.

Hey...was just a dream...but DAMN...
