Mushroom season

i went walking in the woods today, found plenty of them but now have to identify. sooo many different kinds, morels i couldnt find though and those are the ones i know lol. i want pshycadelic ones, i picked some and have them drying in my oven on a piza tray which i hope works if i find out there edible or tripable :)

They are great with fresh salmon, tarragon and a touch of fresh garlic and whole cream sauce reduction.


You are a lucky gal, indeed!

there so good i eat them raw, they leave a peppery tingle in back of tounge.

Thought sillies were Class A now in UK jusr for possession- apparently as bad as cocaine and heroin....The dried aspect was removed in reclassification.

Has anyone ever found or tried Amanita muscaria mushrooms?

Try the coral fungus (mushroom). Hard to get all the pine needles out but they are worth it sauted in butter and a touch of onion. On a plate with a perfectly cooked T-bone, Porterhouse or prime rib, unbelievable.

Picking and eating mushrooms with out an expert mycologist is just askind for it.

Not true.. all you need is someone who#'s picked them before and it familiar with them
