You know what they're doing.

They're transplanting organs out of patients who died from lung cancer.

Most die as a result of heart failure, combined with emphysema, but I guess if the transplantee has a functional heart, he might survive a few months..

I suppose the hearts they use came from cardiac arrest patients.

How about eyeballs from the blind???
