To all those people hating sports threads

Do you realize what sports is? Not only is it all about big $$$, but it's DESIGNED to allow for the release of pent up aggression.

Like a little volcano that spews a little every so often, or a big one would happen. So the little ones are very useful.

IOW, they designed sports to keep you all in a stupor, allowing for just a little pent up aggression.

They've got your eyes trained on the fucking ball like stupid monkeys. And you keep falling for it.

Who the freak CARES is someone wins or loses....after all, think of the big bucks that are involved.

Here's my take...

Ok I like my team...they are my team cause they are from my home town....do I know ever player?...nope....I know some of their stats, some players, more or less...some of their highlights. I watch them when I can, not all year long like an obsessed stalker...if that's your hobby?...fine, but it isn't mine.

If my team is going strong and the season is coming down to who is going to the playoffs and championships etc etc?....I pay more attention if my team is there. When the big finals come for my teams league?...if my team isn't in the running...I still watch and root for whichever other team I like the best...or against a team I dislike the most.

It doesn't take a whole lot of time and sporting matches are a nice diversion and they are fun for me...get together with family and friends and watch a big show, have cool game day foods and have some competition fun...all in good fun.

If there is any downside to any of these of sporting matches it's the things like DUI or getting in brawls in bars which I no longer participate in.

Nothing wrong...and in fact it's a good thing IMO, to get together with family and friends for some event and have a nice time partying and having some sort of rivalry event to watch and enjoy.

For everyone that has to trash that as some sort of waste of time?....Well what exactly is wrong with getting together with family and friends for a high energy and once in while big fun time?

Not a fuckin thing IMO...Get out and crack a smile once in a blue moon!...it'll do us all good....

No, no, no dear.. You are entitled to not know much about sports because you're a girl(no offense) That's why you need a good man to teach/tell you what's going on in the game..
