How some of the bootlickers on this site can be so against that is beyond me. Quoting: JesseDart Its almost like some of you are advocates of everyone being just one step above slavery other than your masters of course. LOL - you obviously are a Union boss on the dole of Union member "contributions". Unions are nothing more than organized Slavery, beholden to their Slave Master, a/k/a the Union bosses. . I'm not going to assume you are posting from your single wide or the free wifi at the library because i know nothing about you, and clearly you know nothing about me. My point isnt about how evil unions should take over the business world, but Walmart is the perfect example of the future of the workplace without unions. These big employers will turn you out like a trick all day every day and as soon as you say a word, they fire you. If thats how you want things in your world, enjoy that. Not me, no way. Dude, if they violate your rights, just sue them. Don't need a big scumbag like you to have our voices heard. We have the right to have it heard anyways. IT's only brownshirts like you that make it sound like that would disappear if you went away. Now go back to your leaching off hard-working people and pretending you are the last line of defense against the "evil forces of capitalism". *wanking motion* PS - Fuck you Sue Walmart... right. The frog in the pot of slowly boiling water. Thats America and fools like you are begging large corps to turn up the heat. It's pathetic. All I can say is I'm glad I got mine early on. I hope there is something left for future generations. If thinking like yours (i use that term loosely) becomes the norm, I don't have much hope. You are choosing the wrong side and someday you will see the results of that choice. |

Please continue cheering on those who would work you like a mule until you collapse if it makes them a buck. Quoting: JesseDart Not this guy. Fact is, Wal-Mart's profits are subsidized by the taxpayer, because it purposefully pays wages that place people below the poverty line and thus qualify them for public benefits. There are people in HR depts of WM whose function it is to help employees apply for public benefits, e.g. EBT, AFDC, etc. In CA, employees of WM are 40% more likely to be receiving public assistance than their counterparts that work for other retailers, e.g. Target. So all you WM fans out there, you must also be fans of enriching the corporate bottom line on the backs of taxpayers. I'm not. I don't believe that is true capitalism. |

Walmart is the enemy of the American people, yet some of the you are so blinded by your brainwashing and insatiable need for more cheap chinese shinies that you just cant help but come to defend a company that intentionally destroys communities in the name of capitalism. Quoting: JesseDart You as taxpayers subsidize Walmart profits by paying for their employee benefits, doesnt that irk you at all? Walmart is so scared of their employees forming unions that they are willing to walk away from stores that are entirely stocked and ready to open, doesnt that alone tell you that their business practices include things that would never fly with an educated organized workforce? Lawsuit after lawsuit is filed against this business due to the way they treat employees and some of you cheer them on. Its pathetic. Commie union goons are the enemy. |

Bluebird (OP) User ID: 27748381 United States 11/24/2012 04:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's foolish to think Wal-Mart CEO's would suffer or the shareholders be forced to sacrifice. All Wal-Mart would do under unions is RAISE the price of everything so that the average working family is required to infuse money directly into the union's pockets. Then the unions can once again use their influence to force their members to vote a certain way as they just did for Obama. So unions really are a way to infuse money into the far left on the backs of the working people once again. They out-priced their member on the world labor scale and cost this country so much in manufacturing that low paying service jobs are all that are left. But forcing the average working family to pay more for the price of milk and bread to subsidize unions is not going to help anybody except, of course, the union thugs. Then in turn, the corrupt policitians can give the industry billions and billions in tax dollars as with the UAW and the auto bailouts. This is blatant and glaring corruption on a scale not seen before in this country and where it will end we do not yet know. Unions have given us the substandard public schools systems with the NEA totally endorsing Obama who in turn is promising to hire hundreds of thousands of teachers at the taxpayer expense for more substandard education. Unions are nothing more than a money-laundrying scheme for the cockbags in the Democrat party. They would love to suck in more campaign donations by "helping" Walmart workers. The truth is that Union bosses are the true Slave masters, going so far as to demand money from workers to keep the Union bosses in their luxurious lifestyles. Fuck the Unions -- they are more greedy than the companies they sponge money from ... to rape the workers the Unions claim to protect. . |

Nikola Tesla User ID: 18230284 United States 11/24/2012 05:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to www.breitbart.com] Quoting: Bluebird Despite union efforts to target retailers like Walmart, businesses are reporting record Black Friday traffic – the biggest sign yet that the unions are out of touch with the American people. Starting at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, Walmart put its products on Black Friday sale, sparking a run to the stores and earning the stores record sales. They’ve already sold nearly 2 million towels, 1.3 million televisions, and 250,000 bicycles. According to Walmart Chief Executive Bill Simon, over 1.3 million Walmart staffers are on duty. There have been picket lines around the country, but the movement has been far less effective than expected. I have one question. If anyone can answer it, I will very much appreciate the information. WalMart reports record sales...right? Is it a record number of merchandise units sold? Or, is it total dollars sold? If it is total dollars, have they taken into account inflation and produced an "inflation corrected" total? I'm just saying.... Walmart told its employees a few weeks before Thanksgiving that they would have to work on Thanksgiving because Walmart's market research is alleged to have found that people want to go shopping as soon as they finished their Thanksgiving dinners. These protests spontaneously erupted in almost all 50 states. This isn't a union fail. No one expects Walmart to fall overnight. |

Quoting: Bluebird I highly doubt many are having to work "double shifts" as they are all getting reduced to under 30 hrs thanks to Obamacare. And someone who plans their career around discount retail sales and thinks this totally unskilled labor will support them and pay a "living wage" is pretty delusional in this day and age. It's at best a part time job or supplemental as discount retail sales is NEVER going to earn enough to support a family of four. Nor shoulsd it. Unskilled labor is only worth so much and is not a very smart course in life. ETA The same goes for flipping burgers at McDonalds--not likely to ever pay very much as food industry does not either. And again, it's not exactly rocket science. Yeah, bet I bet you'd bitch your pretty little head off if you went to take a piss in a Walmart restroom and the toilet was caked inside and out with shit and dried up piss. Somebodys gotta do the tough work in life while the "smart" members of society sit behind a keyboard all day "working". |

The reality is that if Walmart is so "evil", then it's far better to have just one Slave Master, i.e., the Employer, than TWO Slave Masters by adding the servitude required of fucking Union bosses telling you what to do and whether or not you can simply "work". . |
