Alinsky/ACORN tactics being used against a Democrat?!

I watched MSNBC's Rachel Maddow. She was reporting a story about Tea Party peeps planning to protest in front of the congressman's home (Who knows if it's true). Rachel thougt that was "intimidation" and just terrible. Well, guess what? THAT is an Alinsky tactic. I went to the same community school organizing school that Obama did. This is exactly what they taught us to do. You do it so the person targeted cannot hide out from the people they have harmed. You do it so they lose the respect of their neighbors. You call them out WHERE IT HURTS. Soooo, it's okay for ACORN and Alinsky students, but not for Tea Parties? How's that work? Can you say HYPOCRITES?

I attended that school in my twenties, 30 years ago. I was sent by Catholic Human Development when I was in VISTA. The RCC is another communist entity, btw.

Rules for Radicals has lots of good tactics. Never overlook any good info, no matter the source. It's been a long time since I was community organizer. I would suggest reading Alinsky. It's easy reading and it will educate you on what the tactics are. Anyonne can apply them, in any cause. The tea party peeps are FAR more ethical, however, and woulnd't stoop to much of it.

Well, part of Alinsky's philosophy is to throw ethics out the window. Personally, I'm better than that. I woudn't do it as a community organizer, and I won't now. I take my advise from the founders more than anyone (and Ron Paul, of course!). We cannot become what we despise. If we stick to honest principals AND smart tactics, we can only win :)
