Unfortunately, with our trillion $ public indoctrination system and the nightly propaganda channel, they won't. At least not the majority.

Cicuit breakers are a GOOD THING!!

They have been utilized for decades up on the Chicago Futures Exchange (called daily limits down and daily limits up) and it tends to keep the "panic" part of selling and buying in check.

It used to be that the NYSE Specialists performed this critical function for the NYSE, but with more and more volume moving off the actual exchange floor to electroionc trading platforms/exhanges and the size of the markets having grown too big for even the big "specialist houses" to finance the inventory, that old "quaint" system of "specialists" is no longer effective in some fast market conditions.

The daily "limits" such as the futures exchanges have used for decades is not a perfect system ... but it is MUCH better than no system at all since it will allow the markets to "balance out" over time (usually in 2 to 5 days of NON panic trading).

The crash of the whole system is inevitable. They will try to avert disaster, but it will be to no avail.

Maybe that's why they crashed the market last Thursday. So they could justify putting such measures into place to prevent the markets collapse.

We all know the system is gamed. What I am a having a hard time with is, how apparent it is becoming as to how thoroughly the system is manipulated.

Does it have a breaker if the market goes up too much in a certain time??
