exactly, the news made a big deal about a job fair recently...it was all smoothie bar and burger flipping type jobs that no one could live off

I had a dream many years ago about roving bands of people - now it makes sense.

Large groups - with motorhomes, tents etc. - they would move through rural areas and setup camp on abandoned properties and small towns and then have to move on. Remembering the dream, it seemed as if they were being pursued or unwanted like modern day gypsies.

Rather than go third world, and live like the foreigners do when they come here, it might be a better idea to get rid of the foreigners who are taking American jobs, whether they have visas or not, and take over the jobs.

If employers can't find any foreigners who will take the jobs, because they know it will end badly, they will have no choice but to hire American citizens.

Well, going by the county where I live- there are homeless shelters for men and women. They also give emergency vouchers to put people up in hotels for periods of time. There is soup kitchen put on by churches in the area 7 days a week. Free or there's a jar for people who can afford to pay a couple bucks.

The people I see out on the street (and I used to work downtown) are alcoholics who prefer to stay out so they can drink, or mentally ill people who tend to wander. In the case of the latter, the shelter people will try to keep tabs on them; make sure they have a warm coat or coax them in to come eat.


As for the rest of us, if the economy crashes, I kind of hope the banks lose their mortgage records and it won't be like the Dust Bowl when the banks would come in and bulldoze the houses just to get rid of the people.


Try to prep so you can hold out as long as possible.
Remember all those screaming people grabbing at the food handouts in Haiti?
