My understanding is that in all likelyhood there would not be a warning, until it is pretty much upon us. So first, they have to assess the threat. Once they figure out how bad it is, they kind of send out warnings to certain organizations, verifying the findings.

But the indications from all around suggest a VERY HIGH probability of Earth getting hit head on or atleast a very strong side swipe.

This IS the biggest burst I had ever seen, ever! There is every reason to believe it's intensity on our magnetosphere would be just as intense. Proportionally regarding the size of the blast to the impact here.

Maybe we will see large power outages but not global. Maybe it will be the GOOD polarity and bounce off us. But even the polarity idea is not looking good as the CME's kicked off last cycle were the good kind and they tend to reverse every cycle. So the odds are high it is the BAD kind of burst.

No one will know the polarity until it is almost on us. There is 1 satellite near Earth that can measure the polarity but that isn't enough time warning, maybe an hour for them, minutes for us once it hits the MSM if allowed to be aired at all.

Cross your fingers a pray because thatis all you can really do. It is what it is and the odds are great it will fuck us back into the 1800's. Honestly, that could be a good thing down the road.

Yea, there will be robberies and murders with crazy people, but... this could killshot any martial law doom or any government controll for that matter. Lets just pray, this thing does happen. Lets pray were that lucky.

The true field overwhelming exposure comes from when the cloud envelopes the earth and it would have to be ejected infront of the current earth position...same thing in shooting a moving taget...gotta lead em.
