Yes that is what I am talking about!! Actually before the plume started I could see the pipe clearly and it looked like a clean cut then a jagged piece. There was stuff inside too me looked like gauze wrapped around something. Hey I am old but not blind.

Got a nice lean to the right in on of the feeds. I wonder if it's actually sucking anything today, it's way way more.

ANd it seems whatever laws they make are all about FINES, and the way the government's books are now, who can really track if any of the fines even get paid, and just who they get paid too, because it sure as hell usually isn't the victims.

Crimnal Convictions, not Law Suits, are the key, but if the laws we have are not being quickly enforced (like they do with Pot convictions) and the big talking heads arent doing serious prision time, sure, more fucking laws....

It looks so far like top cap isn't collecting nearly enough to have a significant impact on this disaster. Also there have been various speculations about other plumes from the seafloor that aren't even part of the top hat operation. So, pretty much still screwed.

There is a leak about a thousand feet down and the plume exiting the pipe because of the high pressure and boring its way to the sea floor. It is a sandy mixture so it won't hold the leak. Soon the leaks will grow and the grand moment will be when the BOP vanishes into the hole the leaks are currently creating and a much larger hole to vent a lot more oil will appear.

With the icreased pressure the sandblast effect will start to enlarge the hole in the rock and then you might see the oil plume bubbling on the surface. But when the sea floor breaks open to the deposit it will be the end.

I agree this is major doom. I agree that BP are a bunch of lying sacks of crap and all should be shot.

BUT.... it's NOT then end of the world, let alone the gulf.

First the oil would have to cover the gulf, which it is not doing. Next it would have to be enough oil, which it is not.

It will not cause earthquakes. It is a tiny tiny amount leaked out so far from what is in there. Even if 3 billion barrels leaked out, it still is a very small volume relative to the gulf, the oceans, the earth.

There isn't a big fricking oil tank down there. It is gas and oil in porous rock.

It may become worse, it will cause massive amounts of ecological damage. It will destroy small industries along the coast including fishing, clamming, shrimping etc.

It is very very bad. BP and the guv are lying through their teeth but it is NOT the end of the world.

I went through about the same conversation with my mother in law its pretty sad!

Systematic feed shutdown now it seems.. looks like they're just going to bury this now and say the cap is successful. :(

has anyone been able to find a recent satelite pic of the sea in that area, so that we can see the extent of the oil spill .... or are they witholding that info aswell?

Regarding conversations with neighbors and relatives.. I would like to think everything is under control, but inside I don't believe anything is ever going to be fixed. Immense damage has been done and continues. No clean-up efforts could ever approach completion. This will be here for a long, long time, maybe longer than humans.

I am astonished how the msm will hop on dig into every facet of Micheal Jacksons death but will gloss this GUSHER over like it's a dripping faucet.

All these media slobs see the same feeds we do, why do they not share the outrage and deep concern we do?

It's disheartening, and I can only imagine how helpless the people feel down there, as helpless as many of us will feel in months time I bet.

I'v been posting this since friday.

Since friday I've been taking images from the DIV12 Rov. I've also been asking people to record it.

That rov.... as been working away froim the BOP collecting MARKES on the sea floor.Itwould collect theman return to attach the marker to a cable coming from something on the surfice (boat) and it was send up.

ON Friday it started collecting the markes and The Rov Couldn't find the first one... so it was filming the see floor with all the lights on, looking for it. I saw tubes on the see floor part coverd by sediment, It was when i saw a huge plume of oil/gas coming out from the sea floor.

The MARKERs are red with a light on top that is off. The First one had 1.5 written on it.

if you look at the coordinates on the ROV camera you see that it is not working in the same place as the other ROV.

I have screen shots with the coordinates and as I see it the ROV DIV12 is working far away from the BOP.

Remember when all the BP liev feeds went down?

So the markers are there as indicators (distance) of grid around the well?
