Renegade, is the Gulf the U.S.;s all the way to the northern shores of the south of the Gulf?

I would have to check, but at a minimum it is 200 miles offshore..perhaps as much as 1200, depending on which country is doing the interpretation. US territorial waters all the way to the Mexican border.

Renegade, man, I suggest you check if you haven't already...LOL

Just one source:

Under federal law: "The seaward boundary of each original coastal State is approved and confirmed as a line three geographical miles distant from its coast line or, in the case of the Great Lakes, to the international boundary." In Skiriotes v. State Of Florida, 313 U.S. 69 (1941), the United States Supreme Court held that within the three-mile limit, "[w]hen its action does not conflict with federal legislation, the sovereign authority of the State over the conduct of its citizens upon the high seas is analogous to the sovereign authority of the United States over its citizens in like circumstances." At the time, the U.S.'s territorial sea was three miles wide, so the states had the same territorial jurisdiction as the federal government. In 1988, President Reagan extended the U.S.'s territorial sea to 12 miles. The states' territory was left at the three mile mark. For historical reasons, Texas and Florida's claims in the Gulf of Mexico are three marine leagues, which is about nine miles.

do you really think that one must travel 200 miles off the coast to legally gamble in intl waters on a casino boat or fly 200 miles off shore before being served a "free" cocktail over intl waters? Really?

Where the HELL is the common sense and education in this f-in country??!!

This has got too be one of the best threads ive read here "as it happens". Been reading it since i got in from the gym last night. Think everyones on edge wondering if weve all been duped or waiting for confirmation from op or linkage from news sites. Bet if this does get out into mainstream media and it is true, they will just say sub had an accident. If this is true however they must be hiding something huge! any american glp members in the gulf GET OUT!!!!

Something like 10% of the worlds submarines are gathered in the Gulf of Mexico. What the fuck are they all doing there or rather what the fuck are they looking for? DED shows 12 US, 2 French, 3 British, 2 Russian, 1 Canadian, 3 German, 1 Israeli and 2 Unknown submarines

HEY! The above reminded me of a thread about a year ago about a gathering of world vessels at sea somewhere - and how odd it was, china, us, european, middle eastern - really really odd grouping, and did we ever find out what they were gathered for? hm? interesting

You must be thinking of the Gulf of Aden. The world Govts. are supposedly using the Somali pirates and the Yemeni Alqaeda terrorists as a cover for gathering navy ships. There is rumored to be a Stargate in the Gulf of Aden.

The 200 mile thing is for the "Exclusive Economic Zone". Primarily for fishing.

Problem is the U.S. Coast Guard advertises itself as "The Law on the Sea" and will arrest your ass in international waters if they want to. They got the big guns to do it with and who is going to stop them?

That was yesterday? A couple weeks ago I saw in my mind an aircraft carrier that was being approached by a Barracuda class submarine, the class chosen by France.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

In my mind they were approaching, and the man on the aircraft carrier -- the guy with the gold ropes over his left shoulder, the boss/general -- was going through his procedures for handling such an approach.

Well, long story short, the other part of that vision I had, this aircraft carrier was the operating place for a B.E.A.S.T program, which stands for Battle Area Engagement Simulation and Tracking. To be honest, I saw in red Courier font letters the name of the aircraft carrier, and the number 666, which prompted me to do my homework on this. It's a tracking program of citizens, plus some artificial telepathy weaponry to handle the sheeple that pass the government fence.

So the Barracuda submarine got sunk, huh? See, they understand the crap program on that carrier, and tried to stop it. I love USA's little brother, always fighting for liberty. Too bad it's not on the news.

Thread: Australia Joins 10 Other Nations in WAR GAMES...

June 26, 2010

Australia, US, Indonesia, France and 10 other nations are flexing their military might in war games off Hawaii as part of the world's largest international maritime exercise.

The Rim of Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC), which began on Wednesday and continues until August 1, is designed to build unity among allies and deter rogue nations like North Korea from acting militarily.

"It does send a little bit of a message of deterrence because as nations we can come together and operate together quickly and have increased capability and capacity to do things and respond to events," Commander Greg Hicks of the US Navy's Third Fleet told AAP.

USNORTHCOM had already admits that they are preparing military operations within the United States. This is the first time in history this has been done. They will be working with DHS, state and local law enforcement on U.S. soil.

ORI is planning on defending against enemy attacks, supporting civilian authorities with fighting an unconventional foe in the U.S.

NORTHCOM went on to say that the drill will be in the Gulf area (emphasis mine). They antcicipate no infrastructure and extreme weather conditions.

“Even more significant, this inspection marked the first time that any Air Force unit has been wartime validated in support of the security and defense of the United States of America. That’s huge,” Col. Greg Nelson, the commander of the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Airlift Wing said. The survival of thousands Americans rests on this training they went on to say.

The Intel Hub believes they are preparing for a major biological attack or false flag. We will keep you posted. This could be part of Operation Garden Plot. This could be why there is a hardened troop build up in the Gulf.
