From BP site ... look at the date ...

Look at the date of this HOLY SHIT WTF is going on???????
[link to www.bp.com]

It may be a typo. If you open up the documents properties, it is listed as created 5/25/2010

I read the date 10 march 2009 United states government memorandum,
"It has been deemed submitted as of this date and is under review for approval"

So the plans were already there back in 2009.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
.......
Prepare personally for a national time of crises likely to last at least for a generation.

To be honest if you grew up in Louisiana you know that oil spill are not that uncommon. This one is massive and a huge problem, but there have been tarballs on Grand Isle Beach for as long as I can remember. Sometimes you go fishing and you find yourself in an oil 3 inches deep. Not to downplay the DWH and how much of a catastrophe it is, but trust me the moratorium on drilling is a bigger catastrophe. People have no idea what this is going to do to the economy. Not just in Louisiana, but the whole country. If oil companies pull out, the price of natural gas is going to skyrocket. If we have a cold winter, people will not be able to afford to heat their homes. We could see gas prices in the $8-9 a gallon range. There are ways to contain this oil even if it gushes for 3-5 years. And if they did tap into Pandora's box down there and the South is going to blow up... It is what it is... There is not enough room in the North for all of us anyway.
......

I don't recall anybody insisting on a moratorium on drilling here, or anywhere else.

BP, Transocean, Haliburton and Wackenhut ... get them out!

We've got more natural gas on the market than we can use! The reason Cheney/Bush went straight for Afghanistan after 9 and 11 was to daisy-cutter the Afghan mountains to cut a path for the new natural gas line from the Caspian Sea to port in Pakistan. Saved a lot of time, expense and trouble of blasting and grading tunnels through the mountains for the pipeline. This gas line had already been engineered and right-of-way determined before the US bombed the path using the Cheney/Bush style of eminent domain. At the same time the Port of Savannah (GA) initiated doubling the size of its LNG storage capacity on Elba Island.

"Savannah's port is one of the busiest in the United States. The terminals that serve the port are only surpassed in East Coast trade volume by the combined ports of New York and New Jersey. Some of the world's largest merchant vessels bring in cargos from Asia, Europe, South America, the South Pacific, and Africa and return with American commodities. Much of this freight is handled as containerized cargo. The Port of Savannah welcomes over 3,000 vessels per year.
......
LNG Ship [Picture included}
Downriver below Savannah, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers can be seen with their distinctive half globes aligned on deck."
[link to www.hmdb.org]

"The expansion of the Elba Island LNG terminal would more than double the storage capacity. The project is designed to increase the storage capacity by 8.4 Bcf to 15.7 Bcf, plus increase the send-out capacity by 900 MMcf/day to 2.1 Bcf/day. The...This phase is scheduled to be in service in mid-2010. The second phase of the terminal expansion will add another storage tank and is scheduled to be completed in 2012.

The Elba Express Pipeline Project will transport natural gas from the Elba Island LNG terminal to markets throughout the Eastern, in part via interconnects with other interstate pipelines. The new pipeline will include approximately 105 miles of 42-inch pipeline and 86 miles of 36-inch pipeline. The initial phase of the pipeline is scheduled for completion in 2010. The capacity will be increased to 1.2 Bcf/day by installing a compressor station, and this addition is scheduled for completion in 2012."

Lack of room up North? Is that the reason all these damn Yankees keeping moving in down South? ;)
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1043631

El Paso pipeline bought the Elba Express project. Here is a map of the current pipelines and it will explain what I mean by the importance of the Gulf region and natural gas.

[link to www.eppipelinepartners.com]

Natural gas is cheap because it's basically a by product of oil drilling. Transporting gas via LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) is very expensive. Right now there is quite a bit of stored Natural Gas, but it won't last without drilling.

Re: Something Just Went BEZERK in the Gulf of Mexico. The US Navy just sunk a French Submarine
First, all Gulf Coast residents should leave immediately, at least temporarily and not plan to return until the end of August.

If there is inimate danger then I would agree, but most people can't just move. Again, someone is really wrong here, either our Government or the people saying to get out now. And what is the Gulf Coast? 10, 50, 100, 500 miles from shore?

Those who absolutely cannot leave will have to be considered collateral damage, along with the dead animals in the ocean and along the coast. Working families with children should have basic minimum ability to leave .... now! School does not start until later in August. Get children out now! Do something to leave until about the end of August and this immediate crises is over.

The minimum distance is 101 miles away from the Coast to get out of the "Constitution Free Zone" which can leave you with no way to argue your Constitutional rights. Go as far as necessary to get to higher land, a minimum of 300-500 feet above sea level (still may not be high enough) and stay away from river basins.

fwiw, look at the map: [link to en.wikipedia.org]

The great 1886 earthquake in Charleston SC, pushed high water all the way up into the mountains of the North and South Carolina border. The Savannah River Basin between Georgia and South Carolina stayed flooded with high water for a week to ten days according to stories from the ol' timers. Cattle in high country were left stranded on knolls with water swirling around them. Barns were flooded and covered with water in the Northern part of the state. We're about 300 miles, or a five-hour drive North from Charleston.

The "Constitution Free Zone" does not exist. It's a term and diagram the ALCU used to prove a point. Similar to Sarah Palin's "death panels". That's not to say Martial Law can't be initiated, but there is still what is left of our constitution everywhere.

Gulf boats having trouble finding any oil: US official
Wed Jul 21, 12:40 pm ET

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Some 750 boats drafted in to scoop up oil from the Gulf of Mexico are having "trouble" finding any crude in the sea, a top US official said Wednesday, almost a week after a busted well was capped.

"We are starting to have trouble finding oil," US pointman Admiral Thad Allen, who is in charge of handling the government's response, told reporters.

The boats, which have been drafted in to skim oil off the surface of the Gulf, are "really having to search for the oil in some cases" around the area of the capped well, he added.

According to official US government figures, more than 270,000 barrels of oil (11.3 million gallons) have been burned in controlled operations since the start of the spill in April.

That is more than all the crude that spilled into the seas off Alaska in the Exxon Valdez disaster in 1989.

The US government also said that some 34.6 million gallons of oil water had been recovered from the Gulf since the BP-leased Deepwater Horizon exploded and sank in April.

BP finally managed to stop the flow of oil into the Gulf on Thursday, when a new 30-foot (10-meter) giant cap was put in place.

The government has allowed BP to keep the cap shut since then, extending permission in 24-hour stints.

Allen said some of the boats used in the skimming operations were being brought ashore for repairs, as attention turned more towards cleaning up the oil that has already washed ashore along five Gulf coasts.

Hello all :D

Nice to see you all investigate in those coördinates thumbsup

Heya Boogie ;)
Yes well at first I was a bit carefull and sceptic about those "real stargate" rumors. I am a dedicated fan of Stargate-SG1 and Stargate Atlantis, and I know they base their stories on little pieces of facts and fictions in archeology, myths and history.
But seeing that image [link to 1.bp.blogspot.com] made step into some waiting distance. I did not wanted to jump into it, although I know and believe there are many ancient artifacts still on earth ... and some of them inactive like the pyramids.
But now many arrows seem to point in a way that suggests that this is really real. I am happy about that (more then I can and will express), but I know that this is way above many's heads.

Just 5 pages and then summary 12 is ready. :D
I am spitting thru postings haha .. see ya later all.

Our red meat and wild game has "folded proteins" in their brain as a dis-ease which can be passed to humans when consumed.

Now, they destroy a substantial amount of our high-protein, (low carbon) food supply from the oceans. Those are not just sea shells washing up on the beaches of Karachi, they are edible mussels and claims.

We have in recent years, been subjected to "bird flu" which destroys our food supply source from fowl.

May God damn them who are responsible for this and curse them and their offspring ... and God, our creator, will damn them in a manner appropriate."
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1043634

I don't 'know about folded proteins but in England they killed off a bunch of farmer's sheep in one part of the country for havign madcow disease. The elk around Wisconsin are being killed because they are carrying it and it is contagious to other hoofed animals. Where did this madcow start up? One thread said that Germany does not allow US beef sold there because of it.

Might now exist where you are but about three years ago people were getting arrested for next to nothing and put in jail and told they couldn't get a lawyer because they didn't have constitution rights.

Maybe they were just practicing no constitution to see how it worked out for them. This was happening different on the Atlantic coast, not just one or two states. Heard a lot about close to the Mexican border then too about unnecessary arrests on I-10. People were raising hell about getting stopped and searched for no reason on the interstate and told they didn't have any rights

May be right now we got constitution but they practiced that we don't have a constitution.

The "Constitution Free Zone" does not exist. It's a term and diagram the ALCU used to prove a point. Similar to Sarah Palin's "death panels". That's not to say Martial Law can't be initiated, but there is still what is left of our constitution everywhere.

About the blowout on BPII and responsibility:

Transocean might have been the "landlord" owning the rig and BP the drilling boss, but there is accountability.

Transocean had responsibility to shut down an unsafe operation regardless of the demands of an insane BP boss.

Charge BP with homicide
Charge Transocean with homicide
Charge Halliburton for their responsibility in the drilling

Ah ha! Now we know the meaning of OP's "rim."

The "down hole" exerts a pulling pressure on the subs.
