One of the major problems with this thread as I see it is that it has a far lower standard for "truth" than GLP at large.

Links and evidence are not required for factual assertions to be taken seriously, and in fact, it seems the less well stated and backed up your assertion, the more play it gets.

For my part, I will keep from bringing down other posters (as I would on GLP at large for undocumented statements over and over again...) and simply hold my own standard up for those who want such things.

Thanks, and let's have a good few weeks until this SHTF. :)

Cheers,
AM

We will all try to live up to your expectations. It causes me no end of pain

and humiliation to know that I don't meet your standards.

hoped for a soft winter, a warning from Polish meteorologists gives us creeps. They believe this winter will be the coldest in the last 1000 years.
[link to www.eworldpost.com]

 Quoting: dhlos 1110029

I spoke to my counterpart in our London office on Friday and told her that their winter will mostly likely be colder than any winter that she could remember and she asked why. When I told her, she said she hadn't heard anything about it over there in the news. Just like we don't hear anything in the news about the GOM.

I actually think, aside from all the BS, we at GLP are some of the most news savy people on the net.

And who will succeed before a solar eclypse the darkest and the most shadowy since that the creation of the world until death & passion of Jesus Christ, and from there to here, and will be the month of October that a large translation will be made, and as we see gravity of the earth has lost its natural motion, and be in perpetual darkness.

Something that washed over me a couple of day's ago, a convo with a colleague in passing. We're well used to Chinooks flying over the City of London heading for Woolwich Barracks, allegedly. Now something new. My friend lives in Walthamstow (NE London) and has noted that there is now an Apache helicopter flying over his area at least a couple of times a day.

WTF? Do we live in Londonistan?

The thing in the center of the picture on the wooden platform, I believe, is some kind of dragging device they were using to trawl the canyon they were over.

When there was no one in the picture it just looked like a black square box in a metal frame... I should have looked more closely when it was up!

Greenpeace reports the arctic sunrise to be "bottom grabbing" in the GOM currently. [link to www.greenpeace.org]

Marinetraffic shows it over a canyon in a seamount. [link to www.marinetraffic.com]

I don't know about you guys but I am quite interested to hear the ship report.

highlighted

so you either look at the images

Artic Sunrise is discussed pages back.
Suddenly its allowed at the scene after being in harbour at St Petersburg for almost 10 days. then it disappeared and suddenly back at the scene
first it travelled SW and disappeared

Public relations for whatever GreenPeace is to do was not handled well. Big announcement, they come, then pooof! They disappear until a "on" cam show they are in St Petersburg, after it was told they are doing "research."

And, no news.

It'll be a stretch to take their reports to heart.

and they will never report anything, for otherwise Greenpeace wasn't allowed there.
They will manipulated for some reasons, thats my thinking

If I were rich, I would get a deep sea exploration boat myself and go down there and check out the Dome... but alas, I do not have a couple million lying around, nor am I friends with Robert Ballard. I think this is the best we can hope for... let's keep our fingers crossed and be optimistic.

I mean, you can't hide something in the middle of the open ocean forever... the only real question is, if they do find what we think they are going to find, what is the official version of the story going to be?

 Quoting: American Mentat

"heading back to Galveston" ? Is there where Arctic Sunrise came from?

What about Thunder Horse 28* 21' W 88* 49' N?? Where are the samples from Thunder Horse?

Current GOM ship traffic:

Texas 401
Louisiana 122
Florida 75

Whatever "report" we get fed needs to explain Thunder Horse and the unusually low GOM ship traffic since the end of August.

Here is how bad it is about suspicions by the public on whether we are expected to believe outlandish "official" reports.

We think a ship's transponder can easily be put on one of those remote wave-riders.

We want to know ....

Why there is so little ship traffic in and out of Louisiana particularly, and the Gulf in general?

We want to know what is going on around Thunder Horse.

They are probably going to bring everything to a major university whose science staff is not paid by BP or an independent lab.

This would be a good time to have access to the Greenpeace member forums, which are thoroughly hidden from the greater interwebs. <sad face>

Fake earthquake disaster drill tests Facebook, Twitter

(CNN) -- If your Facebook page or Twitter feed lights up with news of a tsunami off the California coast, don't get too worried.
At noon ET Friday, a drill was launched by natural disaster experts at San Diego State University to test how social media would be used to respond to a crisis.
Exercise 24 (X24) is being run by the university's Immersive Visualization Center.
Participants from 15 countries, including the United States, organizations such as the United Nations and Red Cross, and other business, nonprofits and individuals will be involved.

On Friday, about 50 members of government and relief groups huddled in the drill's dimly lit, makeshift command center at San Diego State University.
(From a YT video this newly added centre was courtesy of recent funding by BP PLC???) Why would BP be part of this???

This smells fishy to me... Is this connected to the GULF, in preparation of what is to come?

This is the ship's blog for the Arctic Sunrise.

[link to www.greenpeace.org]

"P.S. Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @gp_sunrise"

Can anyone do this and keep us up-to-date if anything happens? I do not use THOSE kinds of sites. lol

Thanks in advance if anyone takes this up!

Also, this is the homepage of the vessel, with a current map showing geographical locations of various website posts (none of the websites I use) [link to www.greenpeace.org]

There is a lot there about the Arctic Sunrise, if anyone cares to delve a little deeper... for me, I just want the facts baby, just the facts of what is going on.

Cheers,
