The oil is lurking.......
I am not able to view the bottom graphs of the Gulf Stream and think they maybe important. Those I could see seemed not to show the big loop off New Orleans that was there prior to the spill.I may be wrong so please correct me if this is the case...

Excellent link! Note that Fig. 5 "colored areas show the location of oil that continues to come on land."

Current status:

"Figure 5. Preliminary dissolved oxygen anomaly from September 01-28, 2010 derived from data shown on NOAA’s GeoPlatform (www.geoplatform.gov). This is the most current data available from NOAA. The existence of abnormally low dissolved oxygen levels (green dots) is believed to be associated with biological metabolism of petroleum compounds (oil and degradation compounds) and dispersants derived from the Deepwater Horizon well. Along the coastline the areas with colored areas show the location of oil that continues to come on land. See Figures 6 for a closer view.

Figure 6. Latest (November 28-29, 2010) shoreline oiling observations derived from the NOAA GeoPlatform website (www.geoplatform.gov). The non-blue colored areas are the locations where oil has been observed. The red hashed area east of the Mississippi delta is the area closed to shrimp fishing due to the recent capture of oil in shrimp nets. Note that the oil on land extends over a wide geographic range from Florida to Louisiana."

Exclusive: Submarine Dive Finds Oil, Dead Sea Life at Bottom of Gulf of Mexico
[link to abcnews.go.com]

In an exclusive trip aboard the U.S. Navy's deep-ocean research submersible Alvin, ABC News was given the chance to observe the impact of this summer's massive oil spill that most will never see.
The ocean floor appears to be littered with twigs, but Joye points out that they are actually dead worms and that Alvin is sitting on top of what is considered an 80-square mile kill zone.

...

But 5,000 feet down, the oil appears to be everywhere. The government estimates that less than 25 percent of the oil remains, but these scientists say it's not gone, just settled at the bottom of the ocean.

...

The water in most places appears to be clear, a stark contrast to the oil that covered miles of ocean after the April 20 Deepwater Horizon rig explosion, which killed 11 workers.
But Joye said what was once on the surface has now sunk.
She told ABC News in September that samples taken from the ocean floor consistently show oil contamination.
"We're finding it everywhere that we've looked. The oil is not gone," Joye in September. "It's in places where nobody has looked for it."

But there are signs that the Gulf of Mexico is healing. ...
Crews have also found healthier animals, especially the among the bird population around Grand Terre Island, La.

BINGO !!!
GOM and ANTARCTIC CONNECTED !

THE SOURCE OF THE GULF BLUE PLAGUE: Syntholeispirea Gulfmexicana (BP)
[link to sitfu.com]

So, here we have a scientifically confirmed new oil-eating species of bacterium in the Gulf of Mexico that’s closely related to a bacterium only found in Rod Bay and the Ross Sea, Antarctica (OA), and another one only found in the Tasman Sea between Australia and New Zealand (OH).

How do you suppose a new related species of this bacterium from deep cold water Antarctic environments mysteriously and suddenly ended up in the Gulf of Mexico? By use of proven synthetic RNA sequence processes, a new synthetic genome microorganism can be created in 24 hours according to J. Craig Venter of Synthetic Genomics, Inc. and the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI).

...

If any U.S. professional scientist would have the courage to verify what’s presented here, they’d plainly see that SG bacteria are psychrophilic, aerobic, and Gram-negative with polar flagella; they won’t grow or replicate in the absence of NaCl (salt); they have a preference for aliphatic hydrocarbons; and they have a distinct phyletic line within the Gammaproteobacteria.

...

Cholera is an acute bacterial infection that often occurs in epidemics by spreading in contaminated water or food. The best ways to evade cholera are by avoidance of raw or improperly cooked seafood, which may have become infected by ingesting infected plankton. Could there be infected plankton in the Gulf of Mexico, a major food source for Haiti?

A scientific paper recently released by Dauphin Island Sea Lab shows that a faint “shadow” of oil can be seen in the plankton and copepods in the Gulf of Mexico. Those tiny animals ate the microbes (synthetic genome bacteria) that have been eating the oil. The study stated it was important to note that their research documented carbon from the oil working its way through the food chain.

...

Mutations of the plankton have already been verified by University of Southern Florida (USF) scientists months ago. Once this important marine food source has RNA mutations, then everything up the entire food chain is affected. That includes humans who consume fish or crustaceans. What are we facing? More than we can comprehend. Once you alter the bottom of the food chain, you alter everything from that point on. The Gulf Blue Plague is a reality and has been for many months. It’s a worldwide problem.

Wherever the Gulf wind blows and wherever the Gulf water flows.

Syntholeispirea Gulfmexicana (SG) exhibits a 90% or higher match to this RNA sequence.
Now every scientist can verify what already exists.

Article is from early in the year, and is not good news for those on the Gulf Coast suffering from skin infections. This claim that MRSA is contagious may tend to limit BP's liability for the epidemic. [MRSA may not be epidemic yet, but I'm hearing stories from around the Southeast US that hospitals are not reporting all the cases.]

For the first time, researchers have determined how MRSA spreads from one person to another, particularly in hospitals -- the setting where the bacteria often proliferates.

The answer lies in algae.

SPIEGEL: Many fear what might happen if humans craft new life forms. They repeatedly say that you are playing God …

Venter: Yes, and I find them frightening. I can read your genome, you know? Nobody's been able to do that in history before. But that is not about God-like powers, it's about scientific power. The real problem is that the understanding of science in our society is so shallow. In the future, if we want to have enough water, enough food and enough energy without totally destroying our planet, then we will have to be dependent on good science.

SPIEGEL: Some scientists don't rule out a belief in God. [NIH Director] Francis Collins, for example …

Venter: … That's his issue to reconcile, not mine. For me, it's either faith or science - you can't have both.

SPIEGEL: So you don't consider Collins to be a true scientist?

Venter: Let's just say he's a government administrator.

Now, I posted where JC Venter needs a massive amount of algae to produce his goal...Hmm, where can we find a massive amount of algae...Let's take a look at the latest satellite image of the Gulf of Mexico...

Hmm, Thad Allan couldn't find any oil?? The green stuff, is algae folks. Once there is enough algae, they are going to release Synthia, and then you will see the beast rise out of the sea, literally.

So the technical name for Synthia is JVCI syn1.0 Doesn't JCVI = 666 ?

Venter Unloads on NIH Director, Human Genome Project

[link to news.sciencemag.org]

Comment at the link:

“Reading a genome is very different from engineering a new replicator. We continue to be surprised by new discoveries of molecular regulation of nucleic acids, e.g., the continually unfolding story of the RNA world, the leakage of genetically engineered plant DNA into natural populations. Venter spent billions of investor dollars in his own crusade to sequence the human genome and expressed sequence tags, primarily to show the peer review community that trashed his grants that they were wrong. I guess he was wrong about the biomedical value of these endeavors along with the peer-reviewed NIH and DOE projects to do so. I think many view the human genome project to be akin to the space program, but at a hugely lower cost. We wouldn't have the 2nd and 3rd generation sequencing technology if we didn't push the technology in the last decade and I don't think any thoughtful scientist would argue against the biomedical benefits of low cost, high throughput sequencing.

I think Francis Collins was one of the pioneers of translational research and he was very good at it.

Venter's continued need for press coverage, his black and white thinking along with his arrogance are classical signs of narcissistic personality disorder. What has he done to advance biomedical research? Maybe this last question should be the topic of new interviews with Venter. “

This was bumped so it is apparently considered important by someone.

It has looked like the entire "Oil Spill" scenario has been a cover up for turning the GOM into a giant algae bed.
Now come the question of what, exactly is Synthia? The only answer I got from Acolyte (who should know) is that that "Synthia is a symptom" OK let's run with that and say the symptom is a runny nose. So a runny nose is going to rise out of the GOM and get us all? How/ No, Synthia is the organism.that delivers the symptom ("Runny nose"). Granted, organism and symptom may have the same name.
Next question is How will it rise out of the sea? Like Godzilla wading across the bay? Or in a cloud of Methane?
I know I raised more questions than I answered but there are some very smart people on this thread so let's see what answers you guys get.

Above quoting Hans the Magnificant

We need adequate definitions to pursue this discussion. See wiki for the difference in 'signs' and 'symptoms.' Some signs and symptoms can be the same.

'The Gulf is sick" is a symptom of the problem. Signs of the dis-ease of the Gulf are fish kills, oil in the water, Synthia in the water, doesn't smell like it should, water is not the right color, etc.

We have a question, "Now come the question of what, exactly is Synthia?" Synthia, as a technologically produced nano in the Gulf water and is a sign of a problem. At some point, it has, or may become a symptom of Gulf dis-easse.

We want to distinguish between signs and symptoms because parts of the Gulf {and other waters} may show signs of Synthia before the water is determined to be dis-eased.

Next question: "How will it rise out of the sea?"

I'll suggest that algae is a champion of air-borne spores and that we will see Synthia breakout of the Gulf environment and spread EVERYWHERE. An indication that this may happen is that tptb have diverted all hurricanes this season from the Gulf Coast area in an attempt to prevent wide-spread distribution of algae spores before they can get a grip on the problem and find controls.

"There is a certain amount of nitrogen naturally available in the environment due to lightning breaking down N2 into Nitrogen-oxide forms. Virtually all other fixed, biologically available nitrogen in the environment came originally from cyanobacteria.

In Vancouver we have chronic problems with green coating on sidewalks and other places because it rains so darn much. That rain carries enoughn nutrients from airborne dust to provide the extremely low amounts to the algae."

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1184136

[link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Translation RNA (tRNA) carries identity determinants. The determinants are not the same in Proteobacteria as in Cyanobacteria.

According to this abstract there is a lysylating biosynthetic enzyme which lacks a C-terminal in Cyanobacteria that is present in Proteobacteria.

In other words, if I understand, there is a biosynthetic enzyme which, in Proteobacteria causes a determinate [stop] factor and that no such determinate exists if the biosynthetic is translated to Cyanobacteria.

Is it reasonable to suggest that the control Venter put in his oil-synthesizing Proteobacteria does not work in the Cyanobacteria (algae) which has been infected by Venter’s patented Proteobacteria? Thus, allowing the algae to grow out-of-control.

This abstract was published in 2007.

“Abstract

... Protein recognition of specific tRNA substrates is achieved in part through class-restricted tRNA features called tRNA identity determinants. ... Here we show evidence that determinants for lysylated isoleucine tRNAs are not the same in Proteobacteria as in other bacterial groups including the Cyanobacteria. Consistent with this, the lysylating biosynthetic enzyme TilS lacks a C-terminal domain in Cyanobacteria that is present in Proteobacteria. ... We used these new logos to specifically isolate and visualize the differences in potential tRNA identity determinants between Proteobacteria and Cyanobacteria. ...“

Some thoughts on SYNTHIA........
She has been WATERMARKED for a reason and has been engineered to be RESISTANT TO ALL KNOWN ANTIBIOTICS!Money is the route of all evil and the 'personalised' watermaking and antibiotic resistance would seem to be intended to make a great deal of money at some time in the near future for a certain oil company and one of it's partners!!That being said I do not believe that Synthia herself has been released into the environment yet and I don't think she will be until an antibiotic has been made to maim and eventually kill her.I have a feeling that more than one course of antibiotic may be necessary and that it will need to be given by the most expensive route,(ie:venous rather than oral!!!!!!)Need I say more? 5a

@BHD: I apologize in advance if this sounds a bit snippy at the end; I assure you it's not intended that way.

Some pages back you either wrote or quoted:

In hind site, I have come to understand why, at the time I was confused about the contents in the canister, as it was changing. I assumed all canisters' contents were the same.
It's because they were all different. They all contained something different. But all found beneath the Great Wall.

Dunno what happened to my quote from acolyte, which was:

"Synthia is NOT the organism but merely one of the symptoms"

To benefit us all, acolyte needs to explain.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1186376

As said right from the start. Basically the organism is incorporating any nano "they" throw at it, adepts it and uses it for its own purpose.
"They" are losing control of their own technology which they tried to combat the organism with. When some of the 9 "Events" begin each event will boost the efforts of the organism to further in its terra-forming mission.

In the Summer of 2010 the President excitedly announced that 90% of the oil had GONE!Most of us didn't believe him and as usual we were right!True the COREXIT had caused most of it to sink to the floor of the Gulf but something else had been discovered.Something that had been anticipated because it had already been released into the Gulf waters! For those in the know it would have been easy to find but you wouldn't have known that to listen to the breathless tone of the announcer's voice!A SUPER DUPER OIL EATER had been found and it appeared to be new to the scientific community!!It was a bacterium who' genome had been tampered with in the laboratory. It had it's own oil eating capabilities but had been gifted a couple of extra helping hands so to speak....The genes dealing with the task had been taken from an Australian oil eating bacterium and inserted into it's genome in addition to others from another such bug whose country of origin escapes me at present !This made the GOM/HYBRID into a SUPER DUPER OIL EATER and to listen to the President you would think that this new beast had devoured all the oil in a single gulp!!!!!(I don't know who his science advisor is but I DO KNOW that he needs another one!Science is not his strong suit!) In any event I imagine that this bacterium has also been watermarked. It would appear to be almost as marketable as it's very distant relative SYNTHIA and as such will likely make a great deal of money in the future for a certain oil company and a certain one of it's partners! 5a

To continue on with the saga our GOM VARIENT SUPER DUPER OIL EATER reportedly has a strange bedfellow! They met at the ocean bottom although noone would expect them to be compatible coming as they did one from the petri dish and the other from the primordial depths.Something terrible reportedly came of their union, something so terrible that submarines from all over the world were hastily dispatched to investigate and to try to control IT'S spread.IT apparently sickened and killed several French sailors who were within contact with it! Panic ensued and the ' Russian calibrators' were called for and utilized ,(apparently they had encountered something similar in the recent past ).........to restrain and contain IT!.....the effort would appear to be ongoing in more than one theatre and on the face of it is partially successful at present in holding IT at bay.....certainly to date there is no evidence of a Pandemic.....i do not feel that IT is the cause of the pervasive sickness so prevalant in the GOM (to be continued)
