"health warning has been issued after potentially toxic algae was found in the Hurunui River in North Canterbury. The Canterbury District Health Board says people and animals, particularly dogs, should avoid the river downstream of the Hurunui Bridge on State Highway One until the warning about the algae, benthic cyanobacteria, has been lifted. Canterbury Medical Officer of Health Dr Ramon Pink said the algal mats can produce toxins harmful to humans and animals. Exposure may cause skin rashes, nausea, stomach cramps, tingling and numbness around the mouth and fingertips, Pink said. He said if anyone experiences any of these symptoms they should visit their doctor immediately and let the doctor know if they have had contact with dark brown/black algal mats or water in this area. No one should drink the water from the river at any time, Pink said. Boiling the water from the river does not remove the toxin. Animals should be taken to a vet immediately if they come into contact with the contaminated water. Environment Canterbury is monitoring the site and the public will be advised of any changes in water quality, Pink said. The algae appears as dark brown/black mats attached to rocks along the riverbed. It occurs naturally but can increase rapidly during warmer months. The algae often has a strong musty smell and algal toxin concentrations can vary over short periods with changing environmental conditions. Although high river levels will remove the algal bloom, detached mats can accumulate along the shore and increase the risk of exposure to toxins"

"In my dream a huge "walking stick" ( [link to en.wikipedia.org] ) that I had as a pet for many years, was on my upperarm. I arrived at a huge glashouse where somebody else had different types of these insects too. One of them was outside the glas and looked like an ancient piece of wood that you would find on the shore that was washed out and marked by the seawater ... lol it looked like a real "grandpa-walking stick" ... Suddenly my walking-stick (male) on my arm began to talk, and said that : all the females were in preparation of the WAVE that was LESS THAN A DAY AWAY. I was shown the image of them putting and storing many things below surface. I also saw insects in jars that would survive the water and waves, and I saw visions of houses/flats without a roof (blown/wiped away?) and a lowering level of water in those houses/buildings.

(Just before I arrived at that glass terrarium, I saw in my dream a man very eager wanting to sprout all the possible seeds of the world in his garden in pots etc ... Everyone thought he was crazy, but he felt the need to do that, it was important, he thought soon nothing would be left. People laughted at him, though came from all the country to have a look at all his plants.)

I also saw myself collecting as many different kinds of leaves from different trees to make sure my male Walking-stick and a very THICK (thumbthick) female would have enough food and moist to survive the tsunami and the time of being enclosed in a survival-bag. The 2 of them only just met but clinged togetter like perfect soulmates in love. From the tell of the leaves it was late summer-begin authum in my dream. Maybe thats a time-indication for the tsunami-event ... (The plant-garden also indicated that time-frame).

I remember that in my dream there was a little plastic bag that was ripped open and a kind of acid (like sour orange juice) had come into the bag and killed most of the insects inside, but 1.

In my dream I knew that SEEDS and EGGS were the vital survival elements. I saw that the little eggs of the walking-sticks and other insects would be transported by the water and would find dry land again, and would be responsable for the start of new generations on new places, new lands. Also the seeds of many plants and flora would find new destinations and sprout in new soils.
Both the SPREAD and SURVIVAL were important inmy dream.

And at the end my dram showed me that there were people who would try to avoid & sabotage the saviour of species by people like the group I was with. But we takled the evil woman down (lol... I did...) and stopped her sabotage.



I seems that Nature talked to me again (* just like Tiamath Amaru did) , and that I (and groups of others) are fighting for Mother Nature/Earth ... I really feel like Jane D'Arc sometimes hahahaha.
It was so strange to hear that Walking-stick-pet say that "it was less then a day away" ! How could I help and warn people if time is so short ??? And the feeling that I woke-up with was that I really NEEDED to GO to the COMPUTER and send this mail !!!
