USD is down .27 in todays trading; some serious pressure sending in down...and Kaiser predicts there will be a coordinated attack on the dollar today.

He also says 1450-1500 gold today.

Something seems to be up...today (NY session) could be one of those days.

Buckle up and hang on.

The dollar is not attacked, nor was ever attacked. It is devaluated by the FED, and that is the only guilty party.

By attack I believe Kaiser would be referring to coordinated, large-scale divesting of USD. Selling them off.

Who knows...this is just what he was saying that's all. But the USD is under pressure right now it seems. If some of the big USD sellers channel funds into gold at the same time, I would expect a huge surge in gold.

Let's see...

Ooops//the dollar just broke the critical and psychological 77 level - and falling hard. 76.97, down .33

I believe if this level breaks hard, it could be a bit of an elevator-ride down for a few cents, which should be good for gold.

(it just bounced back up to 77, then back down..but this is a key area and will be fought over today)

Dear OP, get you basics right. No one is selling dollars, more or less than average. It's the FED that is devaluating. Buying their own bonds with "created" money aka QE2.0. 3 November will be the official announcement of QE 2.0 but it is already here. Every heard of POMO? They're pumping 2 tot 6 billion dollars into the market every other day or so (I can tell you the dates at 2 pm NY time today).

This all with "created" money which puts pressure on the dollar and it's value. Then we get to the gold part, gold is traded in dollars, so if the dollars loses it's value, gold will "gain" value expressed in dollars.

I have my basics right. I have been trading gold for many years. Since $450-480 gold in fact.

I am posting on Kaiser's prediction, and the fact that USD is currently under pressure as we speak.

I know all about QE. I know how the dollar devalues.

You don't seem to understand the nuances of international currency flows, and that countries and sovereign funds can indeed sell and divest themselves of dollars. This can also pressure the USD index. And this, is what Kaiser was predicting.

I am not here to make predictions or trade suggestions, was just posting on what Kaiser said, and the fact that indeed the USD has been under pressure for the past 8 hours. Let's see what happens in the NY session, which I believe will be volatile for both the USD and gold.

There are other factors at play too, like Japan's recent announcement it to is commencing another round of QE.

True, and you know why?????

It's because the chinks are buying the fuck out of the yen to drive the value UP. That kills Jap exports and makes it more expensive for japan to borrow money.

Currency war, big time.

The only way out is for Japan to print gazillions of yen, thereby destroying the value of the savings of the Jap people.

Message to the Jap people: thanks for all your hard work and savings, but YOU'RE FUCKED. LOL

I don't see it. It's up a little and the dollar is down a little, but nothing like a full-scale multinational war like max was predicting.
