I don't know if there is a program for the boys but I imagine there would be. Quoting: Say_It_LoudBoy scouts would serve that purpose. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 956509 United States 10/17/2010 04:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Grandma was in Eastern Star: the family matriarch, intelligent, industrious, but also a bit distant. She was very involved in her church and local grange as well so I suspect it was a social thing for her. Grandfather a mason, uncle a mason, brother a mason. Me - well, I dropped out of girlscouts so there you go. |

The thing about the Rainbow girls is that you can not join unless your parent in a Mason. Is is a private group. I went out with the group on an outting once when I was younger, site seeing as a guest. Just a field trip sort of thing. But I couldn't have gone to any of the meetings (not that I would want to) Truth Is God's Daughter - Spanish Proverb. "Silence Is Treason" Geert Wilders |

Her father-in-law is head person in his state and he demanded that my brother-in-law and sister join. She doesn't like it as she's the youngest one in the group. She says most of them are seventy or eighty years old. At the same time, she says they are nice old ladies. |

I think a lot of women were involved with it in the past because their husbands were masons. In the lower levels it is just a social club. Kletos, Eklektos & Pistos |

Same can be said of all Masonry, but especially for the women... I don't know how anyone would want to put up with that. You'll never be allowed into the smoking room, but you can gossip all you like in the foyer. What a waste. |

Quoting: jalisa jackson 9687343 I am a Mason and would be glad to help. : ) First. This site lists all the chapters of OES in Oklahoma. Choose the closest one to you and contact them. Second. They will have you fill out a petition. You need top have a Mason in your family to meet qualifications so list/mention your grandfather. If you are found to have good character you should be able to get in. Good luck! [link to www.okoes.org] |
