there is more you can do...know where and what your children are doing at all times...it's called parenting...most are to busy with their own life instead of being parents. That's what happened here.....The local TV stations all did stories on it. Which brought it to everyone's attention. Which in turn made local mom and pop store stop selling it. Knowing they would lose customers if they didn't.
But you know, their are stores that will sell it anyway....Just not publicly.....Sad.

What is worse now than ever is meth labs. People are tuning out of reality. One blew up in front of a hospital, traveling meth labs-crazies! Especially in the country. I say it started with all these pharma drugs people get hooked on and can't pay for their fix, so they make cheap crap that is dangerous.

You are right......Being aware of what is out there and teaching them what will happen if they decide to try it. Helps greatly. Then again their are parents that have no clue, or just don't care what happens with their kids. Then are shocked when they find out, little Sally is not quite the angel they thought she was.

my daughter will be 19 soon...goes to school and works...calls us every evening before leaving work lets me know if she has any errands to run or is comming straight home. We kept a close eye on her, and always the people she was around. Made a pleasant home enviroment for her and her friends...if you can do that it keeps them more so in your sight then trusting the sight of others( im sure you know how that works);-). I remember a time or two when she was younger not being where she was supposed to be...trusting another parent who knows better...needless to say, she was not ever aloud again to stay with those irresponsible people. One couple had the nerve to drink while they were in a bowling alley and drive with my daughter...I don't go for crap like that.

Cobra is particularly cowardly in respect that she delets her posts. If this thread were to continue, I suggest her posts be quoted so there is a complete library of her abuse.

As far as my part with you, you asked that I remove you from your friends list. I did. I got questions from a few, even a couple of strangers at that point, asking me why you were mad at me. True to what was left of my semblance of self and integrity at that time, I nipped it in the bud, with friend and foe.

Recall using the word ’trust’. Trusted that you had your reasons. That it was what you needed to do to take care of yourself. And you would tell me why when you felt moved to do so. But was clear to point out, you did not say you were mad at me because that is not what you said.

Think I said something like, “I trusted you would tell me if you were mad at me."
