the only thing caucasian about king tut was his diamonds. ive never seen a white face anywhere on the walls of ancient egyptian kingdom. not one. why dont you whites be proud of your lackluster european history and leave african history alone. bunch of thieves.

You are probably right, but the Ancient Egyptian were certainly not Negro. They may well have been more like the East Africans, like Ethiopians. Probably Ethiopian types mixed with Greek and other Mediterranean types.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1240061

bullshit! egyptians were negro. blacks come in all colors, looks and sizes. from lt brown to jet black. nappy hair to wavy hair. broad noses to straight noses . thick lips to thin lips. tall or short. australoid, melanoid to negroid. they are all of the black race. ethiopians are negroes. they arent mixed with european. not all blacks have nappy hair. just because a black man might have wavy hair or straight noses does not mean they have caucasian blood. egyptians and ethiopians are who they are, AFRICANS.

Sorry to bust your bubble but the EGYPTIANS DO NOT CONSIDER THEMSELVES BLACK.

For me when I was in Egypt it was painful to watch the disappointment of American Blacks visiting Egypt see for themselves that contrary to what they've been told in their churches in the U.S. the Egyptians are a different race and are not black. The American blacks sooooo wanted to believe they were the people of Egypt. They were sorely disappointed.

No, African blacks did not build the pyramids---even as slaves. The Egyptians are VERY CERTAIN that only Egyptians built the ancient sites. They considered all aspects of construction an act of worship to their gods and they never used slaves for any of it.

Kind of like their DNA "results" that link human ancestry to...apes?

If I'm not performing the DNA tests myself, they're so-called "results" is:

of course modern day egyptians are not black. but they are not the original egyptians. they look like nothing portrayed on ancient egyptian heiroglyphs. america is multiracial but does that make them the original indians? those MD egyptians are descendants of arab invaders that took over egypt and parts of northern africa and spain around 6bc. the ottoman empire i believe. they are not the original inhabitants of kemet but descendants of invaders. they have no connection to ancient egypt. the sudanese have more claim to ancient egypt than those so called egyptians.

Re: King Tut's Royal DNA Results Posted
the original egyptians are copts their language is coptic

language spoken in Egypt until at least the 17th century. Egyptian began to be written using the Greek alphabet in the 1st century.[7] The new writing system became the Coptic script, an adapted Greek alphabet with the addition of six to seven signs from the demotic script to represent Egyptian sounds the Greek language did not have. Several distinct Coptic dialects are identified, the most prominent of which are Sahidic and Bohairic.

Coptic and Demotic are grammatically closely akin to Late Egyptian, which was written in the hieroglyphic script. The main difference is in the writing. Coptic flourished as a literary language from the 2nd to 13th centuries, and its Bohairic dialect continues to be the liturgical language of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

[link to en.wikipedia.org] as you can see they are not black

Copts in Egypt constitute the largest Christian community in the Middle East, as well as the largest religious minority in the region, accounting for an estimated 10% of Egyptian population.[13] Most Copts adhere to the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria.[14][15][16] The remaining (around 800,000[17]) are divided between the Coptic Catholic and various Coptic Protestant churches.

As a religious minority, the Copts are subject to significant discrimination in modern Egypt, and the target of attacks by militant Islamic extremist groups.

I laugh at all of the novice historians here.

Egyptian history was divided into predynastic and dynastic period. Khufu is the one that lifted the ban on immigration allowing phoenicians, Greeks, Europeans into Egypt and interbreeding began occurring

The first pharaoh of unified Egypt was nubian and his name was min or menes. And if you Google his picture you will see a statue of a man with a broad flat nose definately characteriatic of the nubian dynasty.

Google nubian dynasty it is older than Egypt ... and it is where you first find mention of ancient Egyptian deities.

This topic intrigues me ...

I did a little googling on the red haired mummies and this page is a good starter.

[link to www.egyptorigins.org]

Some excerpts:

“The vast majority of hair samples discovered at the site were cynotrichous (Caucasian) in type as opposed to heliotrichous (Negroid), a feature which is standard through dynastic times . . .”

And Rameses II:

“Professor P. F. Ceccaldi, with a research team, studied some hairs from the mummy's scalp. Ramesses II was 87 years-old when he died, and his hair had turned white. Ceccaldi determined that the reddish-yellow color of the hair was due to a dye with a dilute henna solution. As we saw earlier, many Egyptians dyed their hair, and this personal habit was preserved by the embalmers. However, traces of the hair's original color remained in the roots. Microscopic examinations showed that the hair roots contained natural red pigments, and that therefore, during his younger days, Ramesses II had been a red head. Analysis concluded that these red pigments did not result from the hair somehow fading, or otherwise being altered after death, but did represent Ramesses' natural hair color. Ceccaldi also studied the cross-section of the hairs, and determined from their oval shape, that Ramesses had been "cymotrich" (wavy-haired). Finally, he stated that such a combination of features showed that Ramesses had been a "leucoderm" (white-skinned person).

[…]

The fact of red-headed Egyptians has not only anthropological interest however, but also great symbolic importance. In ancient Egypt, the god Seth was said to have been red-haired, and redheads were claimed to have worshipped the god devoutly. See G. A. Wainwright, The Sky-Religion in Egypt: Its Antiquity and Effects, Cambridge University Press, 1938, pgs 31, 33, 53. In the Ramesses study by the French, the Egyptologist Desroches-Noblecourt discussed the importance of Ramesses' rufous condition. She noted that the Ramessides (the family of Ramesses II), were devoted to Seth, with several bearing the name Seti, which means "beloved of Seth". She concluded that the Ramessides believed themselves to be divine descendants of Seth, with their red hair as proof of their lineage. She speculated that Ramesses II may have been descended from a long line of redheads.

Her speculations have been proved correct: Joann Fletcher, as a consultant to the British Bioanthropology Foundation, has proved that Seti I, the father of Ramesses II, had red hair. See L. Parks, "Ancient Egyptians Wore Wigs," Egypt Revealed, May 29, 2000. Other investigators have demonstrated that the mummy of Pharaoh Siptah, a great-grandson of Ramesses II, had red hair.

See my reference to Partridge above.

All of these features are characteristic of the Celtic people we know from history and today.

The Celts didn't appear until about 1500 BC in what is now Austria. I doubt they could reach Egypt in a century or two and found a dynasty of redheads. Your claim is absurd.

and serbia is even closer to egypt than austria, heres a lil theory or connecting the dots im seeing, if serbs native dna, is directly west of egypt, then look into alexander the great! supposedly a macedonian, is he greek or serb? there's obviously misinformation there on purpose, which now is leading me down this rode of truth, that says serbs had something or a lot to do with egypt, cause from what i know of alexander the great, when he took over egypt, or always did have it? and had to go into exile, they claim, he went through the middle east, up into the balkans, and settled near greece.

i think he would just take a boat ride north don't you?

Seriously?

How can anyone ever claim 'pride' over something they themselves did not achieve on their own merit?

Where, when and to whom you are born was nothing that you did intentionally.

And who the hell cares what King Tut's DNA shows.

Personally, I'm amazed that they were able to find any viable DNA in his mummified body. THAT should be the interesting fact in this story - if it is true.

Looks like some white africans doing some black africans hair...

Don't know is that image is real tho..

But it really doesn't matter.

There is only one race of humans... Because we can all bread with each other :-)

It's not like a White cat can breed with a black dog...

I think we should have all come out like cows... white and black...

then there would just be the silly ass brown cow and we can kill them off because the are clearly different.

Looks like some white africans doing some black africans hair...

Don't know is that image is real tho..

But it really doesn't matter.

There is only one race of humans... Because we can all bread with each other :-)

It's not like a White cat can breed with a black dog...

I think we should have all come out like cows... white and black...

then there would just be the silly ass brown cow and we can kill them off because the are clearly different.

who said the one getting their hair done is from africa? looks like a giant to me sitting in a chair, didn't the bible call them nephilim?
