I do not have a problem with muslims. The attitude I have predominantly noticed on this board is one of racism, which is why I don't post much. I did not realize that the hatred was so widespread. We have not come far in civilization I see. All hail whitey. It makes me sick.

I do not like EXTREMISTS of any form - christians, islamists, white supremicists, etc. The difference I see with my attitude, and a few others, is that I realize someones religion or skin color does not automatically make them an extremist, and I can recognize that extremists make up the minority of any said religions/beliefs.

I am doing my best to raise my children to be tolerant individuals. Maybe one day the world won't be filled with so much hate.

Why don't you go to Say an Afghanistan village and preach some peace, tell them you don't believe in their religion, and lets see the love ensue?

Go any place that practices sharia law and just see if they will be tolerant to your wonderful and enlightened beliefs.

I'm not a fan of most muslims because islam is very politically active to the extent the british goverment seems to bend over backwards to accommodate islamic culture, it shouldn't be like that.

As a secularist i feel islamic culture and the culture of this country are mostly incompatible.

Saying that i have a couple of acquaintances who are practising muslims or who come from islamic family backgrounds, and i also own the koran.

I was raised with all kinds of religion in my school.From the age of 6/7. I had kids from all over the world in my class.No religion in my family. Soon found out the impossibilities of so many religions.Loose'm all.

i have absolutely no problem with them.

I'm quite happy for anybody to practice any religion they choose at home and in a building of choice.

When religion becomes a part of education, law or politics thats a big no no.

A secular state is the only fair choice.

I have no problem with any person on this planet, race, religion, or color are all superficial things. These things do not matter, we are all truly the same race. Homo Sapien.

We are all brought up to love our family and neighbors, and we are all family and neighbors in this world so we should all love and support each other.

It is when people radicalize and turn violent in the name of race, religion, color is when one starts to develop hate for those groups of people. Violence is not the answer, peaceful uprising like what we see in Egypt and what we have seen in the past like in British ruled India are what is needed.

It is unfortunate we live in a society where prejudice runs so deep in some people that all we see is the stereotype of a people forced upon us.

Thanks for the real thread. It is reality that media, school, internet, pop culture and everything else created to indoctrinate steer us away from common sense. Every group has representatives of just about every judgment that one might give an entire group.

You have people that smell, don't smell, jerk or cool, pessimist/optimist etc... More people understand that then you think but their behaviors don't show it because of the above first paragraph. With all the deception it isn't completely the masses fault when you have layers and layers of nets trying to gather you up the moment you have an epiphany.
