How can we know that the love of GOD is in us? Or how can it be discerned?

Our works cannot get us to heaven, but they do confirm that we love GOD and that the Love of GOD and His Holy Spirit is within us. Meaning, we have accepted the gift provided by GOD through the sacrifice and revival of His Son.


How beautiful eh? Imagine living in a place where everyone kept the commandments and statues you listed on the first page! Such is to be found in the Kingdom of GOD and within every believer in the Hope and Promise(s) God have given mankind. :)

Freedom, you just again just missed my WHOLE POINT. The ONLY thing needed, is to Desire to become LIKE GOD and these rest will be added unto you. In your desire to become like God, so shall your guardian angel assist that process, as well as your "holy spirit' which is not the 3rd person of trinity but the first. The Father Fragment is what some christians mistake as the Holy spirit. It is HOLY, but it's First Person Trinity, not 3rd person.

Works cannot get us into heaven. Only our Faith, Belief, and Acceptance in GOD's gift to mankind, which came in the form of His Son.

But certainly, salvation is not gained by works. Rather, the works verify our faith in GOD's promise of the free gift of salvation and also verify that we love GOD and His Son and that we delight in His commandments(for they are indeed good for all of mankind).

Can you list the qualities of God or what things are "like" God? That might help.

When one is saved by grace of God, what qualities do they then have?

Not according to the Bible.
All the OTHER religions being good is how you "get to heaven".

The New Testament gospel.. The Gospel of Jesus Christ.... says accept with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus is Lord.
If you try to get to heaven by another way you are lost... per the New Testament.

Now I know that is not how most Christians view their faith but that is the truth of it.

The qualities of a true child of GOD. How does a child of GOD behave? As Jesus behaved while here on Earth. Jesus is the first born SON of GOD and the express ImageLikeness of GOD.

Jesus behaved the same way He commanded mankind to live.

Rule of Law (criminal law)
Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

Rule of Equity (civil, contract law)
Keep your promises.

What I was hoping for was a look through the current list and see if there are repeated entries that can be put together.

I think that some promises can be broken, especially if we made them in ignorance or are unable to fulfill them, or if we learn that they are harmful.

I think that one can go beyond "do unto others as you would have others do unto you" and give them even better than we might expect for ourselves.

Free will versus obligation and duty. GOD isn't forcing anyone to choose Him or His commandments, even though they are obviously great and healthy for any person. Rather, He is letting everyone make up their own minds and at the same time reminding all that there is a due date for the decision.

The two commandments Jesus gave mankind are basically all the commandments simplified into two. At least to the person GOD grants the understand to to understand such a thing.
