So fuck you and your good buddy OP do it I dare ya Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1276100Oh F-off shitbag. I can drive a truck, and even have the license to do it. While I have a much higher paying job in a different field today, I would almost volunteer my time to help the system if I learned that unionized labor was trying to threaten my children with this type of bullshit. And I'll bet much of the country would do the same - so F-off x 2! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 781996Government employees who are payed with peoples' tax dollars should NOT be in a union. The teachers get their salary, free health care and free pensions. The union gets even more. The people can't afford to pay for their OWN health care and retirrement LET ALONE the health care and retirement along with the salaries of these teachers. Your tax dollars don't pay their salaries, state bonds do, and most of that money that bought those bonds were paid for by money created out of thin air by the fractional reserve banking system. Your state state taxes go to pay the interest on state debt, just as your federal taxes go to pay the interest on federal debt, much of which was again created by bankers out of thin air. Read the Creature from Jekyll Island for full understanding of how this scam works. You are every much a victim as a taxpayer as those state government workers are. All these protests are really just fighting over the scraps created by this banking monster, what they really should be protesting is the Federal Reserve itself, because unless you deal with that behemoth, you aren't even close to solving the real problem, you are only dealing with the symptoms. |

The Teamsters of course control not all but a good part of the truckers around the country. So could freight stop or slow down? Maybe. It could definitely slow down food and other goods around the country. Be interesting to see what happens. What say you? Considering all that is going on in the world right now to screw the economy more than it already is... If the unions want to take responsibility for throwing the USA into a FULL BLOWN DEPRESSION...let them GO FOR IT!!! ...and they WILL see the political wrath of PRIVATE USA CITIZENS like you have NEVER IMAGINED OR SEEN BEFORE. Anonymous Coward User ID: 671825 United States 02/24/2011 09:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: If The Attack On Unions Continue To Spread Look For Other Unions To Strike Too Including Teamsters Freight Will Stop The problem in Wisconsin is not an attack on unions. Public employees should never have been allowed to unionize. It is a conflict of intrest for most of our elected officials. Unions are among the biggest contributors in any election, so most of our reps owe the unions for their support. The reps in return vote for pay raises for the unions almost every time. The taxpayers take it in the ass so politcians and unionized employees can keep up their lavish life style. Quoting: Epic Beard GuyEveryone should be prepared to live off the supplies in their house for at least 3 months. If you don't have any stored supplies, you will be the one hurt by this ridiculous show of force by the unions. Agreed...It will get ugly, but I think this has needed to come to a head for a very long time. No better time then the present I guess, cause it'll only get much worse if we don't. That said, once we eliminate the scourge unions have become, we need to next go to work on our politicians - removing ALL that support the old fascist ways regardless of political affiliation. |

Damn, that Cerberus story must be a good read to those that didn't know. And be sure to take note that they acquired scum sucking bottom feeders Dyncorp last year. Now who do you suppose would like nothing more than to privatize all the govt. union jobs but a good old fraudster operation like Dyncorp? What a coincidence that Cerberus would figure in the demise of GM and Chrysler, which is conveniently blamed on the UAW and then buy a company that likes to defraud the government with fat, poorly audited (or not audited at all)private contracts at a time when every attempt is being made to gut public employee unions. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1271896Unions organize workers who are being fucked by the management of poorly run companies. Many well run companies aren't union because they recognize how to properly manage the company and compensate their employees. When a well run company gets sold to some greedy corporate raiders who decide to just steal everything that isn't bolted down and fuck the employees, the union organizers show up. You think the unions fucked GM and Chrysler? Take the time to read about Cerberus Capital and their dealings with GM and Chrysler who went bankrupt and needed a govt. bailout. [link to en.wikipedia.org] If you can't do this and insist on continuing to regurgitate rush limbaugh and sean hannity, you are a willing fool. Ford didn't go bankrpt or need a bailout and they deal with the same UAW as GM and Chrysler. The only thing missing from the Ford equation is Cerberus Capital. For the Cerberus story. |

State employees and all people dependent on welfare are not necessarily the culprits behind financial clear-cutting either. The argument cannot be allowed to devolve into a mindless cage match over who deserves the money, because, first, there is no money, and second, this distracts from the original cause of the distress; the corporate banking elites who instigated the disaster in the first place. Already, I can see a certain subsection of the populace lashing out wildly at figureheads and opposition parties, just like in Egypt, instead of the corrupt system and the banking moguls who built it. As mentioned above, the union offered monetary concessions, Walker flat out refuses to allow further collective bargaining, THAT is what the issue is about. The Unions have CLEARLY over-reached and are responsible for their own Downfall. For example, the demands for Saudi Arabia's "Day of Rage", scheduled for March 11, are NOT for the King to step down (like Bahrain). No ... Saudi's "protesters" are asking for a Minimum Wage of 10,000 riyals ($2,700), greater employment opportunities, establishing a watchdog to eliminate corruption and cancellation of "unjustified taxes and fees".
