On the Georgia/Tennesee border - not Alabama, but still....
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11004066

WOW! I never have posted about a dream, but my mouth fell open when I read the word "Alabama" above. Two nights ago, I was awakened after hearing these words loud and clear, "Alabama. It happens in Alabama." It was spoken with such authority and great clarity. My eyes opened instantly and I sat straight up in bed. I thought, "Alabama? I have read a great deal about LA, GA and the New Madrid Seismic Zone of late, but I don't recall hearing or reading anything that would cause me to dream of the state of Alabama, so this struck me quite odd. It has bothered me ever since. I nearly fell off the bed as I read your post! God help us. I don't post often, but I read along daily... thank you to all of you here on this thread. I appreciate each and every one of you... and pray for us all.

P.S. Isis, I hope you are feeling better darlin!

 Quoting: Southern Lighthouse

Hey, do you think the dream could be about the York-Alabama Lineament? I found out about that a few years back. It has to do with a fault running from the New York area down towards Alabama. I also saw a map and read about another problem that runs diagonally from Washington State through North Alabama toward GA that had to do with a 90 mile wide possible sinkhole. I cannot remember the name of it, but will try and look it up. Those two really freaked me out because, alas, I live in North Alabama. Lol. Anyway, if you remember what part of Alabama was the problem in your dream I am all ears. :)
 Quoting: Vesper33

Good morning, Vesper. In the dream there was destruction, the kind you'd see from an earth quake. While I was seeing this in my dream (which was quite brief) I recall thinking it looked like the southern part of US. I have been reading so much about the sinkhole, I naturally wondered if this was LA, but as soon as the thought entered my mind, that is when I heard, "Alabama. It will happen in Alabama." I also saw the word "Alabama", then I woke up. I was confused because I was not aware of any such fault until reading your post this morning. If you could post any information on this fault, I would greatly appreciate it, so I could read up on it. This dream seriously disturbs me! I have never even been to Alabama, why on earth would I dream such? Thanks so much for any light you can shed on this. If I recall any further details, I will post immediately, as the dream left me with with the impression this was imminent.

The other issue is called the Missouri Gravity Low. There is a little more about it at this link.

[link to adsabs.harvard.edu]

I have a map but don't know how to post it here. Under the map is says it is 1700 miles long and 90 miles wide and extends into the earth's crust. It was seen through space age technology. Anyway, if I can figure out how to post the pic I will.

Some of these quakes are reported to be in the Island Park Idaho area. Island Park is one huge caldera right next to the border with Wyoming. I wonder if one would trigger the other.

Very interesting info on the massive solar density spike, with nothing to cause it..........except a gamma ray burst, the days keep getting stranger. I think we're starting to realize how little we humans really know.

[link to helios.izmiran.rssi.ru]

Heres the cosmic ray chart(one of them), showing no GR(gamma ray) pickup. So the only activity we had for the density spike was cosmic yet the monitors show nothing. Where would a spike that high which showed up on all charts come from, weird.

Crustal displacement is becoming more fact than fiction in regard to the ever increasing national and global tectonic movement, sinkholes, and earthquakes swarms.

As Shada mentioned above, our anomalous lack of solar maximum (at least earth directed), during this solar maximum is also of great concern.

It seems as if we are losing our confidence in the basic foundations that support life here on this planet. Earth, Sun, and Sky (atmosphere/magnetosphere). It's time to rethink everything, or at least be open to the possibilities.

Thank you Shad.

From the article:
As more research is done, scientists are realizing the sun plays a critical role in controlling earth's climate. Solar winds are also known to push back or dampen cosmic radiation originating from super novas in deep space. There is a significant correlation between the amount of cosmic radiation entering the earth’s surface and the amount of low elevation cloud formation. The more cosmic radiation the more low elevation clouds that are formed. The more clouds, the greater the amount of solar energy that is reflected back into space, and the earth cools. When the sun is very active and there is a lot of solar wind, there is less cosmic radiation reaching earth, fewer low elevation clouds are formed, and the earth warms. This relationship itself can account for most of the warming in the twentieth century. As we start the 21st century, the reverse is happening. The sun has been extraordinarily quiet and scientists have found the solar winds have declined to the lowest levels ever measured. This should cause the earth to start cooling, which it did starting in 2007.

Amazing the things I don't know and learn here. This thread is like an online university.

Since some cosmic rays come from the Sun, you might think that there is more danger from cosmic rays when the Sun is active. Good guess; but wrong! When the Sun is active, it "puffs up" its heliosphere. Like Earth's magnetic field, the Sun's magnetic field helps shield us from galactic and extragalactic cosmic rays. So an active Sun means better shielding! So, if you're an astronaut, the best time to be going on a long trip in space is when the Sun is most active......
