I know this sounds bizarre but I have heard a lot of references lately that mention how much "gold" is at the base of the Statue of Liberty and how much "silver" is in the lady herself. These sources referenced the State of Liberty to how much silver and gold is in the whole world. I don't know but that seemed like a bizarre analogy. Does anyone agree? I just found it rather strange. BTW, I think I have read or have seen at least 2-3 different sources regarding this bizarre thing.

Looks like you will get your wish, a nice rise in US Silver Corp as well. I showed the 'paper work' to my (soonish) father-in-law and he bought a bunch. He punched buy before he read 1/2 of the last quarters info. He bought it at o.53 and invited me over for a beer today, on him. He's a super-newbie and I have to tell him that you don't actually make money until you sell...I said wait for the net report coming soon!

Damn, I need a vacation/vocation GG...you just came on and I haven't left. The PNW is frickin soaked and cold and all the BBQ's for the last week have been canceled due to rain...better than extreme heat IMO. But for f's sake...at least a sunny day would get my ass off the chair and onto the beach! Can't wait for Aug. 15th...perhaps I'll get some scotch instead of a beer!

I,m just an old mechanic at a ford dealership,don't trade stocks or paper silver.have been collecting physical for a few years nothing but eagles, got my first 500 ounces at 11 dollars an ounce, purchased my first 10 gold eagles at 700 an ounce. have been adding weekly with pre 1965 junk coins just for the fun of it all. about 75 dollars a week buying junk coins..anyway,,, found this old man at an indoor flea market that has a booth open only on saturday and sunday, that sells metals at spot price,, no mark up,,no tax..he has been collecting for about 40 years. and retired..does it just to supplement his retirement..went to see him yesterday and picked up 10 pre 65 quarters at spot. we talked for a while, when I was leaving he said, hay you can have those 4 wore out quaters you didn't want because the dates were wore off. GAVE THEM TO ME FREE. doesn't get much better than that. last month I purchased a 1986 1/2 ounce gold eagle from him for 50 dollars under spot price..I see him most every weekend and we just sit and drink coffee and talk..nice to have a friend like this.

yes i know,,my wife and I are going to have him over for dinner because his wife passed away a while back and he is alone. told him to please use caution leaving the flea market with a backpack full of gold and silver in the evenings. as his small booth is only open on weekends.

What a great thing to do...does it seem to anyone else that pro-metals people are kinder then most? I've noticed that a higher percentage of metals folks seem nicer, more clear headed and generally more aware than those without? Just me or...anyone else? I have read (I think from the Astrologer Michael St.Clair?) that simply holding the PM's uplifts one's...one's...aura or energy or something. Seems gold and silver draw good energies when held in ones pockets.

One of the guys on Kingworld News (I'll find which interview) said that the silver contracts will be linked to the Chinese bank. They would be offering 100 oz. to bank customers who could easily purchase from their accts.

The point is..if only 1% of bank customers bought a contract...well, I forgot already how many millions of oz it would be but I do remember it sounded like REALLY good news for silvertards!

Yes, I think I might have started a thread on that in the last few weeks. Very good news as, with more exchanges functioning, it will be more difficult for TPTB to exert an influence. The supply is very limited and these exchanges will tap into that so PMs will go sky high :)
