I work at one of the big "box stores" and they have a closed circuit tv monitor, playing in the break room. Usually it is featuring the latest sale items, or promos, but this day, every few minutes it was repeating a short film, with no intro or explanation, It showed a woman employee, with a bunch of papers, and in print it said "What will be done with boxed records, stored at Iron Mountain?" The printed answer was "all records will be shredded after one year!" Then it resumed normal broadcasting. Apparently, a mixup had allowed a short segment from an employee training tape to be inserted into the regular daily feed. Are these stores so large and important as to have their records stored at Iron Mountain? |
