Strangest day of my life

I'm completely freaked out. I was out window shopping with
wife this morning. As we passed another couple on the
sidewalk, the woman looked me in the eye and said
" we are all meat".

I kept walking and didn't say anything to my wife, thinking
that I had misunderstood the woman.

30 minutes later an older man looked at me and said
" we are all meat". I stopped and watched him walk
away from us. I told my wife what had happened and
she said she hadn't heard the guy say anything.

At this point I'm suspecting a prank and start looking
around for one of my friends but don't see anyone I
know.

After we grabbed some coffee we start walking to
our car. A woman holding a 5 or 6 year old
girls hand walks by and the little girl looks at me
and says " we are all meat".

This time I don't even say anything to my wife. I just get
in the car and drive home.

If this is a prank, it is NOT funny.
