BRIGHT WHITE FLASH IN THE SKY!!!
i remember a thread posted by someone yesterday about bright circular flashes of light in the sky. it was on the east coast.
as i was driving to work this morning, north on i-5 toward tacoma, i saw a bright circular flash of white light, with a red center in the sky just above the treeline.
a few co-workers who live down in my area confirmed the same thing.
i only saw the one, and looked for more.
if anyone here is from the centralia/chehalis/rochester/little rock, washington area, can you please confirm what i saw at about 4:45 this morning?

Hi Syzgy

Been watching these threads intently. Where was the sun in relation to the flash? I have been looking in the sky today but have not seen anything, also have not heard reports of such from the southern hemisphere.

good god, at 4:45, the sun´s not even up yet.
sorry, it was AM, this morning.
the thing i´m glad of, is that i wasn´t the only one who saw it.
now i see another thread about bright white circular flashes with red centers.
no clouds, just windy. clear as a bell, no sound that i could hear.
seemed to be toward the capitol peak/black lake area. (olympia, wa)

Re: BRIGHT WHITE FLASH IN THE SKY!!!
I have to admit the other day I saw two white flashes to the east. I just figured it was a storm in the distance. I am pretty familiar with weather and I didnt think any storms were expected. But wasnt in the position to look at a radar. It was about 8:30 pm and it was Sunday night.

Driving home from that point to the southeast I saw a red flash. I got home about 15 minutes later and looked at the radar. Not a storm within 3 states. To be honest, until now I just disregarded it and didnt think anymore about it. Until I read this post.

Didnt Gaia Man say a few months ago that when poster here start talking about lights in the sky, or something similar, that it will be then that "things happen"? Dont remember his exact words. But he said when allot of posters here start allot of ufo threads.

Just an observation.

Re: BRIGHT WHITE FLASH IN THE SKY!!!
Last night around 9.00pm Victoria Australia my wife and I were driving home on a quiet country road.
Bright flash!
Conversation:
Me: What was that? (not my normal response to lightning)
Wife: Dunno, it was bright though almost a blue white colour was it lightning?
Me: Don’t think so there’s no storms around here although I can see some lightning flashing in the distance. Was it a speed camera? (she was speeding)Did you see a camera car on the roadside?
Wife: No.
Me: Neither did I. Maybe some spotlight shooters swept us with their light. (looks around can´t see any one spotlighting)
Wife: Ahh well to late if it was a camera.
Me: Yeah whatever, I think I can fit another beer in before we get home. (turns up radio, opens beer)
Conclusion:
Lightning? Probably.
Spotlighers? Maybe.
Speed Camera? Hope not.

Re: BRIGHT WHITE FLASH IN THE SKY!!!
crazy, crazy, crazy...
i thought i was seeing things. even called my man back at the house about 5 minutes later and told him what i saw.
then i talked to a carpool rider, he saw it, and another co-worker on the ferry dock, and HE saw it too.
like i said, glad i´m not alone in this.
i know there´s been reports of a major cme or solar flare the last couple of days.
but i was hoping for auroras, not wierd fucking flashes of circular lights.
with red centers, no less.

Re: BRIGHT WHITE FLASH IN THE SKY!!!
A few years ago I worked at Cape Canaveral in Florida. I was driving home late one night heading south on Rt. 1 toward Cocoa Beach.

It wasn´t unusual to see missiles launched from the Cape. I had seen several from varied distances at different times of day and knew what they looked like, sounded like and felt like.

If this was a missile, and if it had been launched from the cape, I would have seen it from my location. This was totally silent and stationary.

Anyway. I was driving south and this light appeared fairly high in the sky, east-southeast of me. It wasn´t typical of anything I was familiar with, and I pulled my car over to watch it.

Firstt there was a flourescent ball of light. It started spreading into a slowly expanding, perfectly circular ring of light. Inside the circle looked like pale green vapor. There was a flash of light inside the circle and a 4 pointed star-shaped thing formed in the center, expanding within the outer ring till it reached the edge. The star-shape stayed within the ring, but the ring expanded considerably.

(actually it resembled the NATO logo, star contained within the circle)
[link to www.crwflags.com]

Then it just hung there in the sky like that for awhile and slowly faded into wispy vapors.

They told me a couple of days later that NASA had blown up an off-course missile carrying an RCA communications satellite. They said it had veered over land instead of toward the Atlantic so they blew it up.

Now I don´t know how you make a mistake like that, but there were a lot of idiots working there, so it´s not impossible.

Now you´ve got me thinking.

I hate that.

If it was a missile launched from the Cape (like they said it was) I would have seen it before it was exploded, since I´d just left there 10 minutes before. Additionally, those missiles are launched straight up, not at an angle, so it doesn´t make sense.

BUT... if it was a missile coming IN from the Atlantic, launched from a ship somewhere -- that might explain why I didn´t see it coming until it blew up. I didn´t see it collide with anything.

And it didn´t resemble any of the shuttle explosions. Like I said, it stayed in the same place and expanded slowly -- no flying, flaming debris.

I never was completely convinced that they were telling the truth.

Since you´re seeing these things near the ocean, you might assume they´re being launched from that direction.

Maybe they´re blowing up ufos... maybe they´re blowing up incoming missiles... maybe they´re testing toys... maybe they´re nuking us in silence.

I´m pretty sure we´re at war with someone here on American soil.

But the ´us and them´ concept isn´t quite so clear-cut anymore, is it?

I was reading an article not too long ago about the boys up at HAARP being tickled that they could make little mini auroras.

A good read but, this isn´t the article. Still looking.

"Unusual Solar X-Class Flare Activity
By Ted Twietmeyer
[email protected]
1-16-2005

The size and duration of this X-class flare is almost unprecedented. I have been monitoring the sun daily for about 12 years now, using these charts originally from NOAA below. NASA operates and controls these satellites for NOAA.

All images below were captured on January 15th 2005. The proton flux chart you see below has marked "Jan 14" labeled on the X axis. On this data you see normal radiation levels typical of our sun. It appears something unusual is happening now as illustrated in the ongoing, upward trend in these charts.

[1]

The X-ray intensity chart below also has a space station impact. Although we hear deafening silence from NASA, it is well known that extended space station irradiation also has a large impact for those onboard the station. Astronauts cannot venture outside the protection module on the station for any length of time, if at all. Doing so could result in harmful doses of gamma radiation. Almost all space station modules afford almost no radiation protection, except for one specially designed protection module.

Note the long spike in the curve, has repeated with greater intensity. This is also extremely unusual. It appears another upward trend is developing:

[2]

In the white light spectrum, massive sun spots are safely visible only for those with properly filtered telescopes. These sunspots are the size of hundreds of earths across, and are far larger than they appear below. The two small sunspots are the normal size of visible light spots. The massive, concentrated cluster near the center of the image is somewhat unusual:

[3]

Our sun is supposedly a highly chaotic and random process. Yet we see events this taking place. This repetition makes these events highly unusual. Is this the result of outside tampering? Considering that "solar max" was *supposedly* over more than two years ago. Since excessive solar activity has not subsided, perhaps experiments or tampering using advanced technology is indeed the case:

The US Navy has also been carrying on High Power Auroral Stimulation (HIPAS) research in Alaska. Through a series of wires and a 15 meter antenna, they have beamed high intensity signals into the upper atmosphere, generating a controlled disturbance in the ionosphere. As early as 1992, the Navy talked of creating 10 kilometer long antennas in the sky to generate extremely low frequency (ELF) waves needed for communicating with submarines. Another purpose of these experiments is to study the Aurora Borealis, called by some an outdoor plasma lab for studying the principles of fusion. Shuttle flights are now able to generate auroras with an electron beam. On November 10, 1991, and aurora borealis appeared in the Texas sky for the first time ever recorded, and it was seen by people as far away as Ohio and Utah, Nebraska and Missouri. The sky contained "Christmas colors" and various scientists were quick to blame it on solar activity. However, when pressed most would admit that the ionosphere must have been weakened at the time, so that the electrically charged particle hitting the earth´s atmosphere created the highly visible light called airglow. These charged particles are normally pulled northwards by the earth´s magnetic forces, to the magnetic north pole. The Northern Lights, as the aurora borealis is called, normally occurs in the vortex at the pole where the energetic particles, directed by the magnetic force lines, are directed.

What you saw could have been HIPAS.

9/9/2005 -Driving due East about 8:30 PM (PDT) away from Auburn CA which is about 30 miles NE of Sacramento my wife and I saw a vivid flash of light, like lightening. We were deep in the woods. I looked up and said, "Mmmm... that´s weird -- I see stars, no clouds". The wife saw it too, it was really bright. We continued towards home.

Re: BRIGHT WHITE FLASH IN THE SKY!!!
Date and time: Aug 8th, 2008. 10:30pm-11:25pm.
Location: Arlington, WA

Me and my friends were taking a walk around our neighborhood, and this was on a Thursday. Basically everyone was already sleeping so I don't think many saw these flashes. It started with a bright flash above the trees...very bright. The sky was clear, no thunder or sign of bad weather. We were slightly curious so we sat down and watched for anymore occurences. The second flash was in a slightly different spot, but the same in brightness and close to heidth. These flashes had a circular look to it, spread out and then small again under a second. So fast if you were to blink you wouldn't see it. They weren't strobe lights coming from an event or party, and they were starting to get lower to the ground. A total of six flashes, and the strangest part about it was they were circling our neighborhood. On the last two flashes they were too low to be an airplane or aircraft I know of. If anyone else has experienced something like this within Washington, or anything similar to the description I gave you, please let me know. Thanks!

P.S. If it was an airplane, it must've crashed into the woods or a house. Also there was no noise coming from the sky...we would've heard the engines.
