Rep. West: Obama Is A ‘Rigid Ideologue’ Leading By ‘Intimidation And Scare Tactics’
Republican Congressman Allen West appeared on Fox News and didn’t hold back with his criticism of President Obama’s leadership style and economic policies. Martha MacCallum wondered whether West was worried, like Obama, that if the debt ceiling isn’t raised then social security checks might not be sent out? West simply stated, “I don’t believe that’s the case.”

West suggested there was something he was more concerned with than simply worrying about whether a budget compromise could be reached:

“My concern is that we have a President that is not willing to do his job and that is to prioritize the spending. That he is digging in his heels, being very intransigent, and he’s being a rigid ideologue. And he must understand that every single one of his economic policies have failed. So I think it’s time that he realize that he does not have the moral high ground in this argument.”

I hardly think this Republican Congressman can call anyone a "rigid idealogue". No is as rigid as you can get. Protecting the interests of big corporate profits at the expense of the people and then voicing the word 'priority' makes clear the values and loyalty of this congressman. Same stance they are all taking, sadly. It is so clear that they have no interest in how they can contribute to positive solutions for the 98% of us that live on this planet without greed and power directing and ruling us. Sad that we can't even count on them to make decisions, any decisions, to benefit the people. They'll just put it all on Obama. They must be damn sure it will fail to set him up with veto power to make it happen. So apparent, and so sad.

I really want to see this guy on the republican ticket....

Alan West isn't an ideologue and unlike Obama, he is American.

Re: Rep. West: Obama Is A ‘Rigid Ideologue’ Leading By ‘Intimidation And Scare Tactics’
Yeah and republicans lowering taxes on the rich and not wanting to change that is not ideology? The republicans trying to destroy a black president, anyway possible, even if it fucks up the country, is not about ideology?
Thinking the free market will fix everything and be just, is not ideology?
Thinking oil is just not replaceable by anything usable and cheap is not ideology?
Thinking anything that helps or aids people is socialism or communism is not ideology?

That the debt ceiling is not raised by now is all about republican ideology that protects and supports the rich (and hates black Obama) and democratic ideology wanting a lot more fairness for all Americans.

Why do u sit there and spout the typical liberal talking points. Let me explain. If I owen a company and the government charges me more taxes, the last thing I am going to do is hire another worker in this current economic situation. With the current amout of taxes I currently pay (55 percent combined) there will be no way the fed is robbing me more. Like what happens all the time, the little man will take the heat on this. It becomes personal at this point with additional taxes. I definitely won't hire anyone as this will also raise my taxes (employment taxes, etc) what is so hard to understand here. You can't raise taxes in a bad climate like we have now. If u ever had a business u would understand this. Wake the fuck up.

Allen West is black you idiot.

You assholes always play the fucking race card.

In any case, I'm going to bed, perhaps someone else has the desire to point out how everything you said was complete and utter idiocy - the same type of shit I'd expect from an intransigent ideologue.

Ideology again.

Most rich pay only 15% tax, not 35% and definitively not 55%. They can put all their income as 'capital gains' which is not taxed.

But tell me. You believe that job creators are the rich people? That is your ideology....

Why would taxing the personal income of people (NOT corporations and companies) influence how a corporation hires people if the need them? If a corporation expands due to seeing a new market, it NEEDS people to make it work and make a profit. THEY WILL HIRE!!!!

And why would a low income guy not create jobs if he had money to start is own business? HE WOULD!!!!

Why do republican voters not think but just parrot ideology?
(bad shitty ideology at that)

Maybe you do not care about skin color. But there are many former klan members in the tea party and the republican party. They have been steering republican policy towards Obama since day 1. They want him impeached even before he opens his mouth. They do not want a black slave in the whitehouse and they will never accept Allen West to be president.

Accept it, the right wing is partly abut racism. It is a party for white rich Americans.
