Another update: 10:20 am - Heavier rain has arrived..wind picks up sometimes...then dies down, but not very strong. Keeping an eye on the river across the road too....it'd have to get REAL high for me to worry about getting flooded out, but I'm watching anyway. Only crappy thing really so far today is that my dog HATES going out in the rain =)

On a more fun note. The humming birds are flocking around my porch. I've counted 10 could be more they are like bees flying around the feeder. They are soaring on the wind. It is very cool to watch. And all within a foot of me. I think they like the wind as much as I do.

I'm in West TN, but I lived in Norfolk and DC while in the Navy, and have lived in New York from time to time as a set designer. Many friends, and I love the East Coast.

Humming Birds are awesome!

No one wants to go through the entire freezer worth of food being ruined, or not having water to wash, cook etc. Hopefully many thought ahead for these things. But like the freezer you can only keep food good with ice for so long. Phone service too could be a problem for many phones don't stay charged for long.

Well thank you for being concerned from your responses earlier I would have thought you were a close neighbor. We live in such a smaller world now that we have the internet and even smaller with GLP. So nice to meet you.

If I could upload my vids of the birds I would haven't learned how yet. They are AWESOME!
