What the fuck is wrong with humanity?

Colossal, the shit that we have landed kneedeep in.
The smell defecates the sense, sends feeble souls into shock.
Where is the salvation that we have been promised by leatherbound books and suited prophets?
Why does everything seem to just get worse with each passing year?
Why are we here? What is the reason we breathe? What is the meaning in all of this?
Why do the poor suffer, and the rich prosper in the wake of our labor?
Why does violence plague the streets of countries internationally?
Why are lives taken without remorse? Why does carcinogenic pathogens dehibilitate the mainframe of the body?
The afflictions are interminable....sempiternal.....as far as my eyes can see.
The same questions are asked daily. Yet, no one even thinks to answer them.
They are too boggled up in material possessions....worthlessness.
Foreshadow and see that all of this is fruitless...inconsequential.
Why haven't we learned our lesson? Why do we repeat the same mistakes?
Why do we hate? Why do we kill? Why do we bite the hand that feeds? Why don't we think for ourselves? Why do we believe in lies? Why don't we care?
Shame.
If it's not sex and or money then apparently it's irrelevant.
But, I remember.
We are but humans.
Foolish.
We are driven by greed...lust.
Or should I say green?
Sad world indeed, when one sells their soul for paper.
How much is a human worth?
A few hundred...thousand...million?
What is your answer?
Absurdity.
Mind over matter.
Why worry about ourselves when we are all part of one world...collectively?
Our world that we hold dear is dying. We are dying. Everything is fading away...slowly, incrementally?
Yet, we are blinded by distractions, fabrications...bullshit lies. Media celebrities and nonsensical dramas.
We have lost our sense. We have become conditioned puppies....sheep....brainless populous.
Chasing their masters....oppressors...puppeteers....for everything.
Dependent upon the system.
A system that regulates itself without question from the people.
They do whatever they want and we let them do it.
Wonder why this world is so fucked up?
Ask yourself....what are you doing to make it better?
Nothing.
Surely there is some sense of justice left in my fellow human beings.
Why don't we come down to Earth and take a gander at reality just for a lone moment without the media shoving propaganda down our faces?
What do you see?
Happiness....? Despondency? Fear? Anguish? Hate? Uncertainty? Anxiety? Hope?
Nothingness....crippled existence. Shackled minds...
Why don't we make this place better for all...instead of a few?
Surely...this note will fade away and many won't care.
But for those...
for those who read this.
Won't you take a moment and contemplate.....consider the fate of this world...of you...of everything you have worked toward?
Shouldn't it count for something....?
