My back garden is a mess - Trees down in main street. Getting nasty.
Just have to wait it out.

60mph wind gusts here. 75mph on the north coast. It's blowy, but not exceptional. Some power outages and trees down. Nothing we don't see in autumn at some point every year.

It really is bad here now on east coast of NI. Did the storm track more southerly as I thought Northern Scotland was supposed to get the worse winds?

This site is good. Shows strength of winds and Pressure etc.

Eye of storm sitting over west Scotland with winds packing into the North of Ireland.

The worst has passed - Trees down and plant pots and bins 4 houses down. I think this is the end for here. The hurricane winds should pass into Scotland now.

Liverpool UK... still sunny... also warm. Just been out for a drive... have to admit the M58 motorway was scary fun in some of the gusts...

Edit: Back garden wall just collapsed... been meaning to repair it all summer... ho hum...

It's like a micro-monsoon or something here; very wet & windy. 15 miles north of Edinburgh, central Scotland

70 miles north of here, it's windy but not wet, at least on the north east coast (Montrose/Aberdeen)

Excellent site thanks!
I'm a few miles from Hebden Bridge (NW Pennines). I reckon we are having gusts of 65mph just where I live. As bad as I have ever seen in my 8 years here. Was a bit wary of walking in nearby field as there are some big trees coming down around there. Plus my new next door neighbour has a dodgy roof with loose tiles. Not that he knows it - yet.
