Rabid_Wolf User ID: 2523067 United States 10/05/2011 08:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The moon rotates once during each orbit around Earth. To the OP: I don't know where you are in India, but for Chapra, India the "moon rise" today was at 1pm and "moonset" will be at around midnight. Yesterday in Chapra, the moorise was at 12:18pm and moonset was at 11:27 pm. Nothing strange is happening with the moon, so don't worry. :) |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 2711477 United Kingdom 10/05/2011 02:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | wrong... the moon does rotate, hence the term the dark side of the moon. If it didn't rotate, we would see all sides of it Plus, there's really no "dark side" since the far side has sunrises and sunsets too, just at the opposite times from the near side (the side we can see). Alternatively, for Pink Floyd fans - "There is no dark side of the moon. Matter of fact, it's all dark" |
