Second quake in Oklahoma just now. 10/28/11

I felt it, it was a good one. Something woke me up about an hour ago. Got up and made some coffee. Both of my dogs got up and I thought they needed to go outside, shortly after it hit.

3 hours apart and exactly the same depth?

Interesting my dog was doing the same thing and acting very agitated. Guess I better pay more attention to her.

I know this is odd. Having one this size is not an every day thing but not unheard of. 2 this size so close makes me a tiny bit on edge.

I'm not sure if they do fracking here. Never looked into it. Maybe it's time to educate myself.

3.5 on USGS

I am about 10 minutes south of Spencer. We have been having these little "tremors" for several years. Seems like they happen more in the fall and winter time. All I know is that I don't like them happening in the middle of the night.

We live fairly close together.

I've lived here most of my life and until the last few years I'd never felt one.

I hadn't thought about it but it seems the few larger ones we had last year were in the colder months.

I agree with you, I wish they wouldn't happen in the middle of the night also.

That's ok. The USGS doesn't always make it easy to find things.

Do a little research on hydrolic fracturing, it might ease your mind a little bit. Now if we start having 5.0's, then it's time to sleep with the boots on.
