problem is, weve grown lazy you know we dont work hands on

days if you could grow body hair all over and a thick nice
layer of it(most of us men can on our chests and backs legs and arms you know (not me :P) ),so back to the point, even if some of us could actualy grow this defense mechanism back, we would be made fun of for being more evolved (wtf), and this is what does it all to us. i havent explained my self too well, but basicly, whats popular now affects us too greatly we feel bad to have a defense mechanism far greater then clothing. when is the last time u remember falling over on the road and having a cut head? me never, now if my arm hits the ground ALWAYS im scraped up one way or another. but if i fall on my head i think oh shit did i just loose a chunk of my hair instead of geting cut(i didnt :P). but thats the whole issue, we should have hair all over but we dont, because the same fuckers that convince people its not ok to be fat are the same people that ruin our evolution, and ps to you guys (i aint fat but) im sure ude piss ur pants if some 300 pound guy put his giant hand on ur shoulder and squeezed, no matter how strong and defined your body is, them being fat makes them stronger (mabye theres a perfect ratio what we call chubby but not fat to be exact). anyway my point is we can evolve, but not when we laugh at one another.

And that's a moot question. Highest terrestrially evolved mammal? You have to specify. All mammals are terrestrially evolved to a "high" degree because they'd be dead if they weren't.

You can say say cheetahs are the highest evolved mammal because of their extraordinary speed...

You can say Elephants are the highest evolved mammal because of their ability to communicate in ELF inaudible to the human ear, combined with their natural history and behavior...

To give you another example, some amphibians (yes, I know, not a mammal) actually have anti-freeze components in their body cavity that allow them to survive freezing temperatures. You might think its a measly frog at first glance, but you DON'T know all the evolution involved. The functional morphology of a frog is the flesh-equivalent of a loaded spring.

To compare mammals from different genera for a "highest" evolved is kinda stupid in my opinion. You can't isolate the most highly advanced when you do not take into account the advancement involved. SURVIVORS are the highest evolved.

There's little debate about it: the human race has effectively removed itself from the process of natural selection.

All other terrestrial animals are still fully engaged in natural selection.
