The Relativity Theory has to do with electromagnetic waves and not with netrinos, so there is no problem with Relativity as it seems to work as expected in many applications like the GPS etc. Note that all of the molecular bonds in mater is based on electromagnetic forces, thus the imposed highest speed of light, because the electromagnetic waves that make up the molecular bonds wouldn't be able to travel faster than the speed of light (the bonds would collapse).

I agree, at face value this changes virtually nothing... except it means our scientists minds will open up again and perhaps realise that they had become scientifically lazy when it comes to relativity, light speed theory and cosmology.

They have been a bit quick to drop the words "The Theory of" off Evolution and the Big Bang.

It confirms how little we really know! But does it surprise anyone when these scientists cannot really account for 99% of the matter in the universe, so need to invent mathematical constructs that can never be proved in reality or observed, to make their sums add up!

"About four people" among the group of around 15 who did not sign the preprint have signed the journal submission, according to a source within the collaboration, while "four new people" have decided not to sign. That leaves the number of dissenters at about 15, compared with about 180 who did sign the journal submission.

light is not particularly fast, there are many particle/wave forms that are much faster.

beyond your comprehension as to size. we do not see but a small portion of the CREATION. Universe is a poor word, because there are 700,000 of them and much of what we see are new ones that are forming in the outer sectors, which already point to be more as they develop than the current mass. Our scientists have to give up on the creation being 16 billion years old, how dumb.

This is just the 1st Prove that Einstein was wrong.

Some Theoretic models allready knew particales called Tachyon wich allways travel faster than light.

But this neutrino tests are the 1st that prove it, so i dont see money wasted here if u actually find something that awesome, wich changes all basics of Physics as we know it.

And even if they are just a tiny bit faster shows that particales that exist naturally actually can move faster than light.

Physics, like ALL science (and all life!), is constantly evolving.

That is precisely what makes science so much superior to religion, which does not evolve and thus is unnatural and doomed.

Time Travel is not Possible because there is no such thing as time. Its something we created to make measurements of what were observing. There is noting STORING Time. Time IS our Relative consciousness.

It's not important how much faster than light the neutrinos travelled. What it means is that the speed of light is not the barrier it was considered to be, which is a pretty big deal.
