I remember reading that this is the most extreme sanction possilbe which is why Obama didn't want it yet. Some say it can be interpreted as an act of war. |

Sanctioning Iran's central banks with all other central banks doing business with them? Like China's and Russia's? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6387729 I thought the Fed will be sanctioned by their bond holders if they gone to far Cant afford NOT to make the move. In the Global Scheme of things, there is FINANCIAL WARFARE. It has been going on for quite some time now. Could it be the Trigger to start WW3 ? WAR is imminent gentleman. Man Wars. It is in our DNA. Pray for peace as the Weapons of this World have become terrible. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6387729 I thought the Fed will be sanctioned by their bond holders if they gone to far Look up how Iraq will make many nations wealthy especially the US. Also the difference between Muslim Sunni and Shai. Iran has made it public that they intend to destroy the US and Israel. My analogy is if someone said they were going into your house to kill your family, how would you respond? You should report this to your local police, then make sure your family knows how to use a gun for self defense. That's why we are waiting for Iran to enter our house or our friends house. |

Sanctioning Iran's central banks with all other central banks doing business with them? Like China's and Russia's? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6387729 I thought the Fed will be sanctioned by their bond holders if they gone to far The following facts about Iran merit mentioning. Iran possesses 10% of the world's total proven petroleum reserves, is the world's fourth largest oil producer (4,172,000 bbl/day), is the second-largest oil producer after Saudi Arabia of the member states in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and the Presidency of OPEC is currently in the hands of senior Revolutionary Guards Commander and Iranian Oil Minister, Rostam Ghasemi. [link to en.wikipedia.org] [link to nation.foxnews.com] The function of OPEC is to regulate oil production and thereby manage world oil prices. The world, including the United States, runs on oil and more than 80% of the world's proven oil reserves are located in OPEC Member Countries. [link to www.opec.org] Thus, between its own oil reserves and those of OPEC, at the moment, in large part, Iran controls oil production in 90% of the world's oil reserves. Consider the above information in light of the following facts about Iran: Available Manpower: 46,247,556 [2011] Fit for Service: 39,556,497 [2011] Of Military Age: 1,392,483 [2011] Active Military: 545,000 [2011] Active Reserve: 650,000 [2011] Defense Budget: $9,174,000,000 [2011] Reserves of Foreign Exchange & Gold: $75,060,000,000 [2011] Purchasing Power: $818,700,000,000 [2011] [link to www.globalfirepower.com] Add the fact that the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran is not a Rothschild-controlled Central Bank. [link to www.cbi.ir] BTW, something that may have escaped your attention is the fact that Iran's Nationary Treasury of Jewels is housed within Iran's Central Bank at the heart of the City of Tehran. The Iranian National Treasury of Jewels is "the most dazzling collection of gemstones and jewelry known in the world". How much is the value of this collection of jewels? No one knows the answer to this question. This is because this collection contains gems that are unique in the world. [link to www.cbi.ir] So, Iran is an oil-rich, gold-rich, and jewel-rich nation. It is perfectly clear why Iran is an attractive target for the U.S. military and NATO. However, we must not forget that Iran also has a significant military and a military budget of $9 trillion/year. If we were playing poker, we would have to admit that in some critical ways Iran has been dealt a pretty strong hand! The question, therefore, becomes how long can Iran survive if no other nation can do business with her? Last Edited by Biochemky on 12/02/2011 04:46 AM |

Biochemky User ID: 919411 United States 12/02/2011 05:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | fucking idiots - murderers, really Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1284445 sanctions on iraq in the 90's killed many children sanctions on iran, well might end up killing a large chunk of the world population Exactly. There is every reason to expect such a drastic action (sanctons against Iran's Central Bank) to have serious and far-reaching consequences. The U.S. economy and, thus, the purchasing power of the average American will most certainly be affected. This is because I would expect crude oil prices to potentially skyrocket and SOON. |
